I agree that it's interesting to have this darker comic turn on the Faust story and the special effects do seem all right.... But it does seem like it's breezing past the morality struggles of the Faust story to concentrate on GrimDark Scenario set pieces. I mean, yeah again, comic book movie, really shouldn't expect that too much anyway, but I guess I would like more of an injection of sheer lunacy in place of that.
