This pretty much covers why I'm going to wait for the DVD.

The prequels SUCKED. The only memorable thing about them was the soundtracks. They did go to Seville, Spain though. I recognized Maria Luisa park and remember calling out and pointing at the screen when I saw the tiled bridges. I guess that's how little respect I had for the movie, since I give the Medusa stare to anybody who talks. The Force Awakens was basically a reboot of A New Hope. I know John Williams did the music again, but even that sounded like he phoned it in. The one thing I didn't miss was the ridiculous methods of fading to black, 'sweeping,' etc. I didn't even notice how the scenes changed, which means it was well done. Did you catch any of J.J. 's signature lens flares? I didn't. As is said, less is more. I don't have the urge to go back to the theater, which speaks volumes as well. Bring on Episode VIII.
