 Shub Niggurath is described as a hazy, cloud-like mass with many long, black tentacles, mucus-dropping mouths and short goat legs. She is accompanied by many small monster-shaped creatures generated by her, which she constantly spews out of herself, and then again devours and digests. These are her children.

Of all the creatures of the mythical pantheon of Myths Cthulhu, the cult of Shab-Niggurat is described as the most common. Even the extraterrestrial Mi-go worship her. Having performed the ceremony properly, one can call Shab Niggurath in any forest on the new moon.
