The male lead "Gong Yoo" is really a famous actor, the first time I saw him was in his drama "Coffee prince", he also went to IU’s Palette. And yeah the girl who's plays as the queen is Yeri's friend! ( both of them born in 99)

Fun Fact: The actress of this drama's second girl (Sunny) is Yoo In-Na. Even though they are 11 years apart, she is best friends with IU. They first met in IU's first long running variety show, "Heroes". She played older sister in IU's first lead role in "You're the Best, Lee Soon shin!". They've done many interviews together, commercials and now even live in the same building.

So to is westerners Goblins are gross monster like creatures that are evil. Not in Korea. In the Korean folk stories, a Goblin is a God who brings good luck and guidance. For example when they are traveling they would go pray to the goblin and bring offerings to him, to sk for his protection & guidance on their journey. That is why it is also called the guardian. Like if something lucky happens, they would say the goblin was in a good mood and helped them.

It has been years since I last seen the drama so I may be wrong. Just to answer your question in the beginning on why Kim Shin walked on forward even with his friends and family lives at stake, it was mentioned in the beginning "He was able to see his enemies' swords but not the jealousy of the young king". Kim Shin has always been loyal towards the King, so he was in disbelief towards the actions of the King. I am guessing also he wanted to prove his honor (the princess also telling him to walk on), which in the ancient dynasty, is a life and death thing for loyal servants of the King.

I am a descendant of Geumsan Kim Clan, Kim Shin is a general and the founder of my family. So when I watched this drama, it was very interesting. I don't know if the drama director referred to it, but it's very similar to my family's ancestors.
