I learned a lot about Korea from this video, mainly that they don't heat public buildings to temperatures we're used to. All the kids are wearing winter coats in class.

You haven't heard Candy Boy? You can't really call yourself a Once then. So disappointed. You've got a lot of catching up to do on their B-sides. (imagine a grinning emoji here so you know I'm yanking your chain). Candy Boy and Like A Fool from their first album The Story Begins. My two favorite early Twice tracks.

In Germany we do. If the heating system is broken in a school, there are no classes until its repaired, unless its summer (warm enough).

I wanted people to think about why the buildings weren't heated much in South Korea without being more specific. The reason is that South Korea has no significant deposits of fossil fuels and almost no hydro power. They have nuclear power plants that they want to phase out, but most power comes from imported natural gas so they use it sparingly due to cost. Green energy is not a solution for them or other countries like Taiwan.

Aaron you're kinda forgetting that this is pre-Cheer Up TWICE. their popularity in Korea hasnt exploded yet so they had to ask questions like do they know who they are, have they heard their song etc.

TWICE just debuted with lukewarm response to their debut song LOA at first (barely cracking the top 50 on charts its first 4 month until Cheer Up happened). Knetz even thought of them as Nugus(flops) at the time which is why all members are questioning their own popularity. With top girl groups being Girls Generation, Sistar, AoA, and Exid, as well as rising rookies Red Velvet and Gfriend, without even mentioning the boy groups, the majority of the general public just weren't that interested in TWICE compared to other groups in 2015. They weren't household names yet before Cheer Up's explosion in 2016. Cannot wait for TWICE TV3. I prefer TWICE TV2 when it comes to grounded, heart to heart stuff and getting to know TWICE members' personalities more, but TV3 is the beginning of TWICE unleashing their inner crackheads. One of if not the funniest TWICE TV season ever.
