Taking pictures with people during their bon Voyage filming is a security issue. Usually their location is not disclosed to the public so they can film BV without getting mobbed. If they take pictures with people and the person posts it now everyone knows where they are and can easily find their location and make the trip not so relaxing, this is why they dont take pictures with fans during BV filming or really in general. Bighit actually just released a set of rules that ppl who hold bts fanclub membership must follow. It roughly says to not stalk them or take pictures of them when not permitted or you will lose access to the membership. It's sad but a lot of people do not respect their privacy.

Hey Aaron! One thing about them turning down people who ask for pictures, they actually aren't allowed to take pics with fans! It's super common for almost every idol group that when they do take selfies with fans it's usually at a planned event or something like that! It's mostly for safety reasons from what i've understood since they could easily post the pics and reveal their location, and also because of the reason you said yourself, that if they take a picture with one person then everyone is gonna start asking and that would be a huge hassle. Sometimes you might see a kpop idol taking a selfie with a fan and then they usually do it while their managers aren't looking lol so it's a super common rule that's usually strictly upheld within most entertainment companies.

ALSO it becomes awkward cause it's a culture thing too like in korea fans don't really ask for selfies that often, they would usually get asked for a handshake or for them to sign something and they're usually allowed to do that and will probably say yes! But it becomes awkward cause in english speaking countries or western countries in general asking for a selfie is usually the first thing people ask for.

Well one of the reasons they can’t take photos when they are filming is bc they don’t want the ppl to “expose” where they are filming.Even though the person might not have said anything they might post it one social media and then ppl will find out what bts is doing or filming.And usually when they film bon voyage they don’t want ppl to find out where they are going💜💜

I think the least people can do is respect their privacy, i mean they are sitting in a plane, i dont think any celebrity would accept taking pictures when he is resting in an airplane😂 i feel for them , it must be such an uncomfortable position.

One thing to know about this bon voyage series before you go any further is that this reality show is a PRIVATE schedule, which means no fans are allowed to ask videos/pictures/signature or even try to approach them. Them dying their hair is actually NOT violating any company regulations, they are allowed to do whatever they want with their body but since they are idols, they need to be mindful of their appearance and that’s it. The whole thing is an inside joke so please don’t ever try to associate it with the important privacy issue of their schedules.

Yes it might look easy for Tae to just take a picture when asked, but it's not. Once he take a pic, he's setting an example that others can ask for pictures/autographs on private schedule, which will result in many similar troubles in the future. They never take pictures also because Bon Voyage is a secret schedule and they don't want fans to know their location while filming. Trust me, thousands will fly to the country just to stalk them. You think of celebrities' lives too easily
