Actually those 'fake love' high notes jimin and jin do, are rarely done live. When the song first came out jimin said that those notes were really hard for him to sing and record but Bang PD pushed for them. So if they're already hard to sing while recording, i can't imagine who could hit them while dancing like that

The background music is played by using Korean traditional musical instruments. That was 'live' music :).

Hi Aaron, I'm new here & trying to catch up with your reactions. I agree with you & true that there's nothing wrong with lip syncing especially when it is needed to deliver better performance. I'm not sure if anyone has told you about this but for K-Pop take note that fans are extremely screaming their hearts & lungs out, what I've learned from some K-Army that editing affects the quality of the artist's voices coz their trying to tone down fans screams. Fancams can attest to this haha.... thanks Aaron!
