Hey! It's been more than one week since the latest status update which isn't exactly good because I'm supposed to keep you updated at least one time every week, but things have been busy and the summer heat has been tiring 🥵

Here's what I've been doing (some points are mentioned in the latest public update):

  • A bunch of new dialogue UI improvements, like an Auto Play Button, a Hide Button, a Skip Button and so on.
  • A bunch of bugfixes such as the ability to quit to the main menu inside the pause menu. I've also worked on a feature that allowed you to save while a dialogue is running and resume from that dialogue line, but it has a bad interaction with Playmaker so I am just freezing the pause menu right now during dialogues until a better solution is found.
  • Fixed a few instances where the incorrect sprites would show and so on, for example Alberto's Engineer Suit will now show up in the classroom content.
  • Designed most of the ship map (I've used ME2's SR2 as a reference by exploring it). I'm right now working on adding the designs into Unity, so far the Captain's Floor and the Engineering Floor have been added into the game as scenes with explorable maps.
  • Finished most of the flow for the ISA Ending. I only need to add 4 illustrations that have recently been drawn in order to at least have some explicit content in the upcoming release.
  • Finished the animations for the ship launch, ship flying into space and ship crashing into the planet. They've been added into their own dialogue which is the final dialogue played at the ISA.

There are probably some points I'm missing, but, we're making nice progress and as soon as all the ship floors have been added into the game I'm going to work on the flow where your character wakes up into the ship and the content begins.

However, there are some points I need to address and for that I'll make polls, such as different ideas/implementations for a combat system and so on.

More than that, I've neglected the public release a bit because I didn't have much time so I'll have to spend a bit on releasing it on more platforms for more exposure around the nsfw community.

Special thanks to AndyVipEvil for sending me some saves and detailed a few issues that allowed me to fix a pretty big problem which could make it impossible for you to load some saves without crashing the game, now these saves should work fine.
