They found the exact concept and sound that works for every single individual in this group. No one sounds strained or out of their range, we got half the group rapping here and there but everyone still gets singing lines as well. The quality of this mini is only possible because each member brings so much to the table. The more I think about it the more I realize they can literally do whatever they want in the next 2.5 years and it will work for them. I do prefer this concept and I think it makes them stick out in a way they probably didn’t even need lol but the future holds endless possibilities because its them.

when the lineup was announced one of the biggest criticisms i kept seeing was "they don't have a rapper/who is going to rap" (they have multiple members who predominantly rapped on bp but we'll ignore that for now) and it's like they took that criticism and said okay we'll just focus on vocals, then. the answer was that simple.
