DROPBOX LINKS WILL BE SUSPENDED FOR THE TIME BEING (Patreon)

tl;dr I'm working on sorting out video hosting for all my content both in the past and moving forward. While I'm reorganising between Dropbox, Vidyard & YouTube, Dropbox links will be suspended and not work. This hopefully won't be for longer than a couple months but I'll keep you updated!

Hey fam,

So I've been desperately trying to find a video hosting platform that's gonna work well for both myself and you guys. It's driving me a little bit insane that it's so difficult to find a good and straight forward solution but that's just how it goes sometimes.

But, essentially, through much thinking, searching, and figuring of things out... here's the plan that I've come up with for now:

(Keep in mind this is only regarding the older content (aka pre-Patreon's video player) for now)

• First, anything that isn't an automatic copyright red flag will be re-uploaded - unlisted - to a secondary YouTube account. I don't want to repost everything at the moment so I will be linking those videos in the original posts rather than embedding them in new posts. This may change in the future and I may start making new posts with the videos embedded but I'll do this in small chunks if I do decide to do that.

Content included in this category will be things like: group specific variety shows, weekly idol & some other variety, album listens (dependent on length of album), potentially some live stages & so on

• Second, anything that *is* a big no no copyright-wise will remain on Dropbox. I know it's not the greatest platform and trust me I wish I could be done with it but unless I can get Vidyard to stop cutting videos off or just... not letting them play then I gotta stick with Dropbox for now.

Content in this category includes: survival shows, dramas, any albums or variety content blocked on YouTube & so on

• Third, for the time being, most new content will be uploaded using the Patreon video player as I have been doing. At the moment, I have 500 free hours total to use but after this year, they will start charging for additional storage. At this point in time, I can't find any information on what those fees may be. If they're beyond my financial capabilities, what I've listed above for the old content will become the new norm. But we have a ways to go before that happens
• Also, to be safe copyright-wise, I'm going to eventually move all drama & survival show reactions to dropbox (or vidyard if it plays ball) as those are typically the most aggressively copyrighted and I don't want to run into any issues here on Patreon. This will take some time and will require me to repost them when that time comes

At the moment, the first two points are my priority. I wanna get the older content organised and sorted so I can finally put my mind at ease regarding this stuff.

While I'm moving things around, Dropbox links will be suspended for the time being. I will do my best to get things sorted ASAP so that it's not too long but it may be a couple months before the links are restored.

Vidyard links will still work. If I'm unable to get Vidyard to start working properly for me, there will come a time where those links get suspended while I move everything from there back to Dropbox/YouTube but we'll cross that bridge if/when we get to it.

Hope that all makes sense for you guys, and apologies for the need to suspend the Dropbox links. Hopefully within a couple months things can be a little more settled and sorted with this stuff and we can carry on our merry way.

I'll keep this post pinned until the old content is sorted with working links for anyone new that may need to know.
