Sup!

I may need 3 more business days to emotionally recover from Hotel Del Luna but polls wait for no bitch so here we goooooooo!

This is obviously a very small selection from a long ass list that I have. I basically just chose the ones that I'm the most interested in watching at the moment and you guys can pick from them :)

You'll notice a theme with most of these which is "a woman I love is part of the cast" lmao

Anyway, happy voting! All going well, the first episode will be watched on Twitch on Saturday!

I love The Uncanny Counters but I have seen all of these and they're all great so I'm happy with whatever turn out for this list!

Guthwulf

I vote for "It's Okay Not To Be Okay" (my favorite K-Drama and perfect follow up to "Hotel Del Luna", ask Daniel Goland if in doubt ;) ). I know all of these shows with the exception of "Cheer Up" (which is now on my Plan To Watch List). Only one of those that wasn't for me personally was "Twenty Five Twenty One". Everything else I liked quite a bit (especially Business Proposal). But let's start with "It's Okay Not To Be Okay" ;) and keep the rest for later reactions. It's worth to watch all of those at some point in time :D

Neeko

It's not on the list but "The Glory" is such a good show also!

Guthwulf

I'm also interested in this show. Might be worth to add for future polls. And if we're already adding new suggestions for the (I'm sure already endless) list, than I would suggest "I'm Not A Robot" (as a reviewer put it: "THIS IS THE CUTEST. MOST FLUFFIEST. THING. I’VE. EVER. SEEN.").

IOTNBO is stunning but 2521 is also one of the best dramas of the year

k_88

I don't know why but I never managed to get into IOTNBO but 2521 is one of my absolute favourites, so good. Business Proposal is a drama I can watch over and over, it's a light slightly cheesy drama in the best way

Enrico Gratzer

I’m gonna be getting around to 2521 soon but I’ve heard it’s very good. As for my vote for now, I’ll have to go with Business proposal since it’s freaking hilarious and Sejeong’s acting is top notch! (Also if you’re like me that watched it to get over the emotional train wreck I was after finishing Hotel Del Luna then I’d recommend this)

Exekyute (Kyu)

Oh wow, I'm surprised I've actually seen almost everything on this list. I've heard great things about IOTNBO (even in the comments here), but I've gotten the impression that it's more emotionally heavy than I'm willing to commit my leisure time to. I enjoyed the other five dramas, but if I were to directly suggest only one I think I'd go with Business Proposal.

✨meganELK✨

I absolutely ADORED Extraordinary Attorney Woo, such a feel-good show with great moments and great acting. Definitely a top tier drama for me. I've heard only great things about IOTNBO though, so I'm excited at the prospect of that getting chosen!

Too many good options

EAW is my pick! Handles a lot of serious topics while being funny and sweet with the biggest green flag male lead ever, as well as having really well done autistic representation in the form of the female lead! My runners up would be Business Proposal (super cheesy and campy and LOVES tropes) and IOTNBO, but I 'd caution that IOTNBO is really heavy and tackles a lot of triggering subjects surrounding mental health and abuse, so be aware! TBH everyone loves 2521 but it was one of the biggest disappointments of the year for me. I just couldn't get into it, didn't help that I couldn't stand the main couple. That said, Bona is a great actress and Hyunwook absolutely carried what parts I did enjoy of the show!

Ivy

2521 :') taeri and bona are the cutest pair in that & the uncanny counter is also really good

Guthwulf

For all people that voted for 2521. Could you sell me on this show (without spoilers)? What was it, that made it special for you? I only saw the first episode and it was "fine" but not enough to continue for me. Didn't click for me and that's strange, because I love every other K-Drama on this poll. Ratings of course are very good (even though no 9.x on MyDramaList like Extraordinary Attourney Woo or It's Okay Not To Be Okay). So I'm curious, what did I miss? Of course I won't change my vote from It's Okay Not To Be Okay (will be always my number 1) but I wanna know if or why I should give 2521 another shot.

For me the two leads were fantastic, as was the cinematography and I just loved the pacing of the story. There are some dramas so many people love that I've never managed to watch, I normally give a drama 1 or 2 episodes and stop if I'm not into it. Honestly life is too short lol

Guthwulf

thx for the answer and fair point :) What we usually do "In-between" shows: we reserve one evening where everybody (usually 3 people) chooses one show (that we don't know already) and then watch the "pilot episode" together. The one that we like the most, is then the show, that we continue to watch as next show together. I believe it was around new years, when 2521 got chosen (by me btw) and went up against Glitch and Once Upon A Small Town. That evening Glitch "won" and the pilot episode of 2521 hadn't manage to convince me enough to revisit it on my own and give it another episode since then. I just wondered since it is doing so good in this poll.

Personally I was sold from the first episode. The lead actress is amazing, and that played a big part in why i loved it so much. Then the Fencing was somewhat interesting, and we didn't spend a full episode one one match, the pacing is fast enough so we don't get bored with it. And I also enjoyed the fact that most of the story is in the 90s...

Incheonguy

I have a write in: alchemy of souls - this one can't be missed. It just started the 2nd season.

I'd love to see some reactions to some older dramas at some point There a ton from 2015/16 I loved and go back to rewatch a lot

Guthwulf

Do you have some in mind? I would point out "My Love from the Star", "W Two Worlds" and "I'm Not A Robot" as shows, that are a "bit" older but worth watching.

sunnyside

oh, if we're talking older then i'll throw in "healer"!! one of my favorite action romance dramas to this day and imo still ji changwook's best work + one of park minyoung's as well.

liscriesalot

aahh I’d love to see ur reactions to 2521, it’s my fav kdrama I’ve ever watched </3 i haven’t seen IOTNBO yet tho bcs i never got around to it so that might be super fun as well! looking soo forward to it regardless!
