I feel my soul going feral with each subsequent listen of bye bye

Enjoy!

with what you were saying at the end i do get your points, although it is VERY difficult when one of you're ults comes back and we dont get even one peice of group content (not even on wendys youngstreet this time). but the thing that frustrates me more is the fact that (whether its group OR solo things) the girls WANT to be doing things. the amount of times wendy has been calling sm out for the past year or so about not allowing her to do collabs or them not listening to her ideas for solo stuff is just frustrating 😅 anyways on a better note bye bye is definitely my favorite song on this album followed by zoom and on a ride! :)

Totally get that bud and to be clear, I don't want it to seem like I don't think sometimes companies could do better. More that I take issue with the idea that some people have that older groups should continue to work and promote like rookies. It's not fair to expect that when they don't need to do it. Of course if they want to, that's a completely different story. But yeah, hope that makes sense!

I think the reason their last three comebacks have hit so well is that Red Velvet have (imho) really found that sweet spot when balancing both the Red and the Velvet sides. In the past, they used to separate those two styles drastically, going from a strictly Red album to a strictly Velvet album for that sharp contrast. But since making their grand ot5 return, rather than alternating concepts from album to album, we get both concepts even within a single track. For example, with Feel My Rhythm, the production has that quirky/experimental side but the classical sample gives it this velvety elegance. You get the best of both worlds in one, and that makes it uniquely Red Velvet. There are still tracks that lean more one way vs the other, but the contrast is less drastic.
