I highly highly highly recommend going back to listening to their older albums since debut, and I'm not saying it just because I'm a Goldenness. I would say in general, Golden Child has always kept the same "sound", they tend to have many high energy, funky tracks with lots of synths, HOWEVER, prior to their album "Re-boot" which was released in Nov. 2019, their albums were brighter, and more youthful! they had over a year long hiatus from Oct 2018-Nov 2019, and during that time they matured a lot and worked on self-improvement during that time while Joochan suffered an ACL knee injury. But prior to that, they only released youthful and bright tracks with some sentimental ballads mixed in. But they maintain that high energy, and refreshing sound imo, but are more mature now and brighter songs you'll find on their b-sides for sure. As for "AURA" I thoroughly enjoyed this album, and I feel that Golden Child is very good at bringing you songs for different moods. I think they also have many songs that the more you listen to, the more you can enjoy them. As a Goldenness, I can definitely say that more people should give them a chance, their vocals are top-tier and they sing with conviction, the more you listen to them, the more you fall in love with their music. Please, just give them a chance, I think they deserve it.
