I'd say that the drums on this album are really well done and also provide some nice cohesion to it -- not that they all sound the same or anything, but they're very present on every song and you do get some sounds that appear in more than one track.

PK really just.. doesnt miss do they, lmao. I always have a hard time ranking PK music, and sometimes it changes on the day, but usually.. MemeM > Geekyland > HNS > IV Nerdy > MemeM > Zombie > Ponzona Summer Rain > Nerdy > CSD > Love Is Dead > Fireflower Those are kinda.. meaningless lol. Everything is just, "is it a 12/10 or a 10/10. " My top 3 songs tho easily. Cursor, Period, Summer Rain and if that doesn't say something about their ballady-chill songs idk what does because those are usually my least favorite on albums. I just lob them sm. 😭

These are my rankings for title tracks, albums & Geekyland itself, from my favourite down to least favourite (though like you, I don't think they have a single bad song and this is just the order of preference that I feel at the moment) Title tracks: Zombie - Ponzona - memeM - Nerdy Albums: Geekyland - Hide & Seek - Into Violet - memeM Geekyland: Love is Dead - FireFlower - Can't Stop Dreamin' - SuMMer RaiN - Nerdy Also, in regard to the line distribution. One thing I think the highlight medley did really well in showing the raw vocals was to highlight the layering and harmonies that go into each song and reminded me (a Jieun bias) that, just because I'm not hearing my girl front & center in the mix doesn't mean she's not doing anything at all and infact she's all over each track giving her vocal support to the heavy hitters and helping to make the songs a amazing as they are.

i am still really annoyed ireh has literally no lines in her own solo song. like she didn't go that hard in the original just to have it all taken away. as much as the other members are all amazing and have great voices rbw had the chance to give ireh her moment and decided not to. swan and goeun sing every chorus, they didn't need this one. it just leaves a bitter taste in my mouth that makes it hard to enjoy the song like before

I am also completely over complaining about line distribution for Purple Kiss. As a Dosie bias, it would be nice for her to have more lines, but it's not like I want to hear Goeun, Swan, and Chaein sing less! lol I think the album is very good, but it is also right now a distant 4th place among their albums for me. That could definitely change after I spend some more time with it though. Geekyland Album Ranking: (This is the only album of theirs that I have considered naming the title track my favorite song on the album.) You can't rank it, i can do it. I can say Nerdy isn't my favorite, the instrumental and the song reminds me Pretty psycho specially the chorus and i prefer Pretty psycho than Nerdy and i can skip Nerdy because i will think of pretty psycho and sing pretty psycho in chorus! My rank will be 1. Intro bye bye bully (it will be a perfect intro for Pretty psycho or Love is dead), 2. Love is dead i will prefer it to be the title track like the previous album, i will prefer Pretty psycho to be the title track than MemeM (It's my own opinion.) i love so much Love is dead. 3. Fireflower. 4. Summer rain i will re-listen it so much, i love it so much. 5. Can't stop dreamin' and 6. Nerdy

I think both Nerdy and Fireflower have a Balkan flavor to them that is not something I can remember running across in Kpop (Aya is off in that direction but not quite). I'm sure my opinions will change when I've heard this album a few times. For me the album rankings would currently be Hide and Seek, memeM, Geekyland, Into Violet. For title tracks Ponzona is still my favorite, then Zombie, Nerdy, and memeM. I can't really rank the songs on this until I've heard them more except that Bye Bye Bully would be at the top if it was a complete songs. My favorites are still Cursor, So Why, Twinkle and Pretty Psycho. Cursor probably edges the others for favorite.

what i love about purple kiss discography is they don't sound like your generic standard kpop song. lot of kpop song the first 5-10 sec you can already tell it kpop but with purple kiss it has kpop influence but sound more global and nothing like your generic kpop.
