I am so glad you enjoyed all the songs, especialy Tan's debut ^^ They also released a single album with several more great songs you can check out. They unfortunately don't have a lot content as far as I know but in their official youtube, they have a series "이상한 나라의 탄 18-28" as a pre-debut show documenting a lot of behind the scene stuff right after the survival show. It is still ongoing but there are 9 episodes out already, 15-20min/episode, and really good to get to know the members. I think there are also fan-made guides for the group if you want to check them out! Thanks a lot for the reaction!

XG = YG Japan x AVEX Artist academy (Hikaru will be joining them post Kep1er) Elevator Scene Vocal = CHISA Oldest, main vocal White Outfit Rapper with the tone and attitude = HARVEY Half Japanese, Half Australian these are the 2 that stood out to you the most in the watch through the group is 7 members all aged from 2002 - 2006

For XG, they are a (presumably) global group; they're under a collab between YG and Avex, who's a Japanese entertainment company. The rapper who had a unique tone you mentioned was Harvey and the vocalist in the elevator was Chisa, just an aside. They're supposed to focus on R&B and Hip Hop as their style and imo they are mainly dancers, skill wise. They have good rappers/vocalists obvi, but dance is really where they shine. Iirc there's a lot of speculation that Hikaru from Kep1er will join them after Kep1er disbands bc she was/is with Avex.

The Brave Girls album is very good, like it's really close to taking INVU's place as my favourite album so far this year. I love the XG track a hell of a lot. I have been watching all the videos they put out pre-release and they have a ton of potential.

Oh man, your reaction to TAN was basically me hahaha... I was like 'ooh a new debut, let's check it out' and then I was totally blown away. I mean, this is one of the greatest debuts I've experienced in my life (and I've been here in kpop for more than 16 years now) and I must say that this is still my favorite title track of March and that means a lot as I am a Stay and we've just had this amazing Stray Kids album coming out and I adore Maniac and I'm also a Monbebe and Kihyun's Voyager is there too. But TAN is up there and doesn't let them take over the 1st place hahaha... I'm also still in shock and I'm so excited and looking forward to see them grow! So yes, your reaction was super relatable hahahaha

YG and YG Japan are separate legal entities, but YG Japan is a subsidiary of YG. XG is a partnership with YG Japan. The article was just saying that YG, the Korean company, was not involved with them.

the CEO of Avex has said that Hikaru is joining the group during a conference call. So while not "official", it is basically confirmed.

I am a little disappointed with XG's debut to be honest, the song just felt a little to repetitive for me. All of their pre-debut content is insane and the members are all amazingly talented. So i was hoping their debut showed off a little more of what they could do, and with a more interesting song (for me personally).

TAN also has a b-side called My Girl which I think is one of your biggest weaknesses: sexy-concept boy groups with a super cute song. They even have choreo for it.
