I agree.. Waiting is a bit underwhelming compared to the other songs on the album, but if we are getting an MV for Kiss of fire then I won't complain haha Curious if the two videos will be connected somehow!

This is such a masterpiece of an album! I think outside of Taemin's solo stuff, Woodz has become my favorite male soloist. It's a really difficult album to rank because I love it all, but I think for now my ranking is 1. Chaser 2. Kiss of Fire 3. Waiting 4. Sour Candy 5. Thinking bout You 6. Multiply. I think I'm a lot higher on Waiting then you, I really love it. I understand where you're coming from though, and I know you definitely still like it, you just like the other songs on the album more, which is perfectly reasonable since they are all incredible! I'm really obsessed with the bridge in Waiting, that little bit of electric guitar that goes into the acoustic guitar break down is one of my favorite moments on the whole album, so good! Speaking of amazing guitars, Chaser is easily my favorite song, I love it so much! 10/10 album!

I'm super late to this album listen but I'm so glad you loved it! I had a feeling the other songs would be more to your taste 😊 I can't rank the album but I was waking up with Sour Candy stuck in my head 1 month after he spoiled it on radio (not listening to that spoiler in the weeks after) it's that good! and yet I still don't know for sure if it's my favourite 😅 Fun fact, WOODZ made ALL 5 songs except Waiting in a week: Kiss of Fire in 40min, Multiply in 1hr and Thinking About You in 1hr 30min (all 3 recorded within a day each) 🤯 Yes TC is a western producer which is why he's main lyricist for the 3 English songs while WOODZ is main composer/co-writer since WOODZ is good at English but not completely fluent. For the Korean songs, WOODZ is main writer/composer and worked with his friends NATHAN (producer he always works with) and HOHO (electric guitarist, bassist, producer) again. Kiss of Fire is a title track because he wanted one Korean title track and one English title track for his international fans as he wants to go more global. Chaser was the original title track before he wrote Waiting (personally I love both but I see where you're coming from and I think I like Chaser slightly more). While Chaser would have been amazing as a title track, he had a very specific goal in mind for the story he wanted to tell throughout the 6 songs in the album (he wrote the album thinking about the day from morning to afternoon, to night and waiting til dawn) and I think he felt that Waiting fit that better for the title as it's the conclusion to the story and the MV is designed for it (he's involved throughout the entirety of planning for his album/concepts from album design through to MV). Multiply is a song written specifically for international MOODZ (he had written Memories on Equal for MOODZ, including lyrics from MOODZ themselves, but since it's in Korean he wanted to write a song directly for iMOODZ too). I don't think Kiss of Fire will have a MV but you may have already seen that he just dropped 3 Live Clips (vocal focused performance videos) yesterday as a reward for MOODZ after he finally got his 1st win as a soloist: Kiss of Fire, Chaser and Waiting (also he'll be doing a dance challenge with Sour Candy).
