This album is going on repeat for the next however long I may be alive and I'm not mad about it. Gogobebe Rock version will forever be superior in every way. And you are correct in saying the Queendom version for Decalcomanie since they took out Wheein's part in the second verse for Queendom specifically(hence why they were so nervous for the performance). The thing Byul says in Mr. Ambiguous is "Are you interested in me?"

It is so much more fun to listen to something like this that I love with someone else who is loving it too. Thank you. A number of these (including the Wind Flower that surprised you) are pretty much the concert version from the F/S four seasons concert but all of those have production details and vocal choices that are a little different. Of course live audience and fan chants add their own magic, but I would say that every single one of these is the best version of each song I've heard. Particularly strong for Peppermint Chocolate where I really don't care for the original. But a lot of that is they had Moon do a style of rap that didn't sound right and this totally fixes that.

I think I'm going to have to leave this album out of consideration for my albums of the year ranking, because it wouldn't be fair to anything else that comes out this year. This album isn't just "The Best of Mamamoo." It's Mamamoo saying, "We're The Best, and we're going to make sure you don't forget it."

This Paint me give me chills every single time I hear it. It was fun to experience this album again with someone else who appreciates them as much as I do!

Its been an interesting album to listen to for sure --- I feel that I prefer the majority of the original versions for these, especially with something like Paint Me and Windflower which are hard to top, but I do appreciate that this release has all these different varations on these songs. Its a shrewd move for a Best Of release, because in the age of streaming, a playlist like "This is Mamamoo" essentially has been their best of for a long time now, and people can cobble together their own. To release a best of that is unique with stuff not heard before is really a win/win. Good job RBW and Mamamoo.
