Such a solid album!! Kanghyun is listed in the credits for the album for playing the guitar and weves are fairly confident that he's the one behind the guitar riffs in twinkle.

While every song on Into Violet was really good they were different moods. I would say to myself I want to hear My Heart Skip a Beat or I would want to hear Period. And I had preferences. Hide and Seek I can't pick among them and they somehow seem more like a single symphony with different movements. I like it so much.

This is definitely a much more cohesive listen start to finish than Into Violet, I agree with Martin. Zombie just gets catchier and catchier the more I listen to it, but I worry that some folks might just do a one and done on it and not revisit it, thankfully the video is rewatchable! Really really love Cast Pearls Before Swine --- could have been the video track honestly.

I loved the album! My ranking is 1. Zombie 2. Cast Pearls Before Swine 3. Twinkle 4. So Why 5. Zzzz 6. 2 AM. Personally for me, I think those top 4 songs are perfect and amazing. I do really like Zzzz and 2 AM, but for me they were not on the same level as the other 4, but still very very good. Overall, I think this was a better album than Into Violet. Zombie is a much better title track than Ponzona, and one of the best songs of the year imo. I also think for the most part the bsides are better on Hide and Seek as well. The one place I think Into Violet has it beat is with the slower songs, 2 AM and Zzzz dont even come close to the masterpiece of Can We Talk Again. Both are very good albums though and I'm really impressed with Purple Kiss. I think Pixy still has them beat as my ROTY, but PK is a very close 2nd.

It's really a pity that you're the only one recognising Cya, at least from the reactions that I saw... On top of Cya's involvement in Zombie, Kanghyun also participated in this album as the guitarist behind Twinkle and So Why. ONEWE and RB-INJ (string session) are honestly RBW's secret weapons!! Btw, I already gave up on choosing a favourite on like the 2nd listen...
