Before I even get to watching this: I can't tell you how much I needed this today. I had a terrible day and ironically I binge watched all the other videos of P101 S1 that you did last night. I never actually watched the full show just a few clips and some performances and it feels easier to watch as someone else is watching. Sejeong is absolutely amazing and I always wondered if you ever listened to gugudan since her, Mina (adorable eye smile girl with cute cheeks in the pink robe who was from Jellyfish) and Nayoung all were in there. Anyway. Thank you again. Time to watch this!

Yeonjung being such a bright girl this episode is always a pain to watch.. (the amount of hate she got bc of it as well, mnet I will burn you) Call me baby is really a team of main vocals, it remains one of my fav perfs in produce (sejeong's team as well tbh it hits every single time) idk if you know her but the girl you liked in call me baby is nature's sohee btw!

ugh I hate the edit on the Haru Haru team so much. If I'm not mistaken Yeonjung joined this show right after WJSN debuted, so she had been passed on for their debut. Starship added her after her success here. So that, the whole INTW team debacle and Juna getting picked as main vocalist, she just burnt out. And as much as she was getting compliments after that 1st performance a lot of the comments were things like "oh she's a good singer, it's a shame she's not pretty enough to be an idol." So, yeah, I think I would've been sulking and mentally checked out, too. I can't believe 84 years later I'm still bitter about this lol I don't even follow WJSN. this whole ep just bummed me out back when the show aired. Haein got screwed over by the edits too.

Late, but honestly, it was clear that Yeonjung was evil edited here when they did the whole prep segment without a single interview clip from her after the "fight" started. I bet she even explained why she was so down on herself not getting main vocal but the editing just didn't include it. They didn't even include their "talk." And given that Yeonjung legit NEVER cries, you know it had to be deeper than a "I didn't get the position I wanted" reason. Mnet honestly... Was not following this show or WJSN at the time but I've heard about how much hate baby Yeonjung got during this time, especially those comments on her looks. (Part of why I was refraining from watching PD101 on my own tbh. She's goddamn beautiful???? Hello?? Words really aren't enough, I need a gun, juseyeo) Anyway, you don't know how happy I was to hear you acknowledge Sohee during the "Call Me Baby" stage. Definitely have attachment to this wonderful soft bean after Idol Operation Drama Team. So glad she debuted in the gg, Nature. Now, if they can only make another comeback please... And I mean, Sejeong. Need anyone say more?
