There’s something beautiful/special about Big Bang ballads and mid tempo songs in general that has always resonated with me, and although I understand why they aren’t as well known or acknowledged, I wish they were better known for them. They have a huge and diverse catalogue and it’s a pity if one only sees them, musically, as the hype party anthem group. One of the things I miss about second gen was the friendship between Big Bang and 2ne1.

Seeing this tour live was unbelievable. It’s produced down to the tiniest detail and pulls you through GD’s career trajectory, different emotions, questions he’s posing about whether the onstage him and the offstage him are the same person, and that SOUNDS like a pretentious lit major analysis but also it was a gosh darn PARTY and I cried and I danced and screamed along and I really miss concerts, y’all.

and yea he was doin world tour and he had perform more than 30 cities so i cant even imagine how stressfull it is when you doin it alone...he was really exhausted when he perform at seoul

Motte was 36 performances and the largest attended kpop solo tour ever (if I remember right). I know it throws you off to see him relying him on the backing track but I think people don't realize how much groups rely on those backing tracks because they will continue to lip sync so you don't notice where GD doesn't care if it shows. In general, I feel like 2nd generations do much better live than the current kpop groups as they much more focused on their choreos. Thank you for your reactions! I always love your thoughts!
