We have that exact same ranking! TASTE. Honestly can’t choose between Habit or Hug as my favorite VU song. Crazy in Love is one of my favorite full group b-sides and the choreo is glorious. If I is edged out by Lean on Me for fav HHU song because honestly the if I if I if I’s are a little repetitive for me. As for My I and SF, the performances definitely enhance both of those songs immensely. I think your plan for the rest of the albums is the best way to go about things! 👍🏻

There's a couple of official ways to pronounce AL1; All, All One, and Alone! I usually call it either All One or A-L One. Also AL1 has two CD-only special tracks; Who (performance unit) and Check In (hip hop unit)

I totally get what you mean about Don't Wanna Cry. Time and time again I question if it still holds the spot of my favourite Seventeen song. And every time it does. It is so special to me and I can never say why exactly but it is simply a masterpiece and I think it was the song that made me truly fall in love with kpop. I'm getting emotional here too and I'm gonna be cheesy but that song feels like fresh air, sunlight, and a vast scary world all at once.

To provide some context since you haven't listened to their earlier albums yet. In their debut albums (17 Carat and Boys Be), they showed their big potential and youthfulness (and, apart from the title tracks, you could tell the production was lacking a bit). After Seventeen's unexpectedly huge success, they took a long break before finally releasing Love&Letter which is like the final episode of their youthful era and contains songs that are a bit more personal and sad than in the previous albums. You can also hear a BIG jump in production quality, like you can tell they had more means to really polish their songs. before releasing them. Going Seventeen is a transitional album and signs the end of their happy, boyish concept. Since they had mainly released happy songs, they really wanted to see how their fans would react to sadder ones (+ they wanted to fit the winter mood). You can also hear another jump in production quality compared to Love&Letter. Then, seeing the success of Going Seventeen, they decided to go all out with a more emotional track for Al. Al1 marks the beginning of a new era for Seventeen. The album was a real surprise for Carats because it's extremely EDM influenced while they had accustomed us to a more funky sound with real instruments (or mimicking real mimickings) instead of just synths. As a 2015 Carat, Don't Wanna Cry is my least favorite title track from them but I thought the Al1 album was a breath of fresh air in their discography. And I love that Seventeen has continued to grow and experiment with their sound until now.

I approve of the ranking except crazy in love is my number 1. There is a dance practice vid of that btw the dance made me love the song even more. It's an amazing bside. Love watching your vids at times some of the things that you catch in songs makes me like or love a song even more than i had initially.

I don't know if you know this but, for some reason, your reaction to Heng;garae doesn't work on YouTube - or at least I can't play it, I even tried with a VPN. So, I was wondering if you'd consider reuploading it here on Patreon? Only if it's not too much hassle, of course. I would've just loved to see your reaction to Kidult and Together but YouTube won't let me :(( Anyway, thanks for your hard work and for posting such great content!
