Yay! Lion Heart is my second favorite korean album by snsd, losing only to Holiday Night (a MUST listen btw), and tied with Mr Mr! I always thought of One Afternoon as having like a bossa nova kind of sound, but also kinda different.. Also I feel like Check can only be fully appreciated in the live stage bc the flannel outfits and the choreo make the whole thing gayer lol Sign is my least favorite of the album, and i definetly agree that Show Girls is impeccable up till the chorus (i dont hate it but i dont love it either, but the rest of the song is just so good that i dont mind it) And i second the previous comment: Bump It live on the Phantasia Tour is ridiculously good!

UGH I love this album!! Definitely my favorite Korean release from them. The versatility they show here is outstanding. Plus, as you said many times, THE VOCALS. I feel like every member got to showcase different sides of their vocals and it makes me so happy!! My ranking is actually somewhat similar to yours! 1. Talk Talk 2. Bump It 3. Check (I love a 90s throwback and there’s an iconic stage performance) 4. Green Light 5. You Think 6. Lion Heart 7. Party 8. Fire Alarm 9. Paradise 10. Sign 11. Show Girls 12. One Afternoon... but honestly I love them all!

It made me really happy to know that you enjoyed snsd’s album just as much as you enjoyed izone’s album I know how much you love them, It warms my WizSone heart heheh. I’m starting get a feel of what your type of music is like and I’m most definitely sure you will like all of Taeyeons songs on her albums. FYI I think you heard show girls on ur snsd guide during Sunnys part. Great fun reaction as always thank u.

Hey, I finally subscribed to your patreon! Glad to be able to access more of your content :) Lion heart is a special album to me because it was my first physical álbum! I remember being so excited, for like a month I would just sit back at random times and admire it being displayed. My favorites from this álbum are Bump it, Talk Talk, One Afternoon and Fire Alarm, but I really like all the songs honestly. Snsd does have a lot of straight songs lol it’s unfortunate but as long as they bop (and they do) i’m happy. Check is my least favorite from this album as well, but the live stage is just something else, especially Yuri... ummm thinking respectfully. Bump it is already greatl, but when they perform in concert there’s a dance break where every member gets a section and the way it transitions into the chours.... it’s magical like i got chills the first time i saw it. And for Talk Talk, SNSD actually has another song called Talk Talk on their I Got A Boy álbum so there’s an in fandom joke about fighting about which one is better and I gotta say I prefer the Lion Heart one (and Tiffany agrees). About other SNSD albums: my favorite Korean ones are Holiday Night and The Boys for full and Mr Mr and Hoot for minis. As for Japanes ones, they only have 3 and they’re all amazing so really between Girls Generation, Love and Peace and Love and Girls any of those would be nice. Get ready for more essay comments now that I’ve joined your Patreon lol

Favorite GG Korean album, tied on top with Girls and Peace (Japanese) My favorite song of the album is Paradise, the second verse, the bridge and the adlibs make the song GG japanese discography is like a whole new experience, not better or worse, just different So happy you enjoy so much the songs

I'm so glad you enjoyed the album! Bump It is one of my all time favorite GG tracks, and it's even better if you watch the Phantasia Tour live, as mentioned in some of the other comments. You commented on Tayeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun being the ones to have a lot of the "vocal moments" - yes, they are the base of GG's vocal line (and have a subunit called TTS). It's a shame Sunny doesn't get as many moments to shine vocally because she's also a great vocalist, but I guess SM favors TTS's deeper tones. In earlier albums, you would see Jessica doing a lot of adlibs as well.

The war-flashbacks I had to the Inkigayo stage when Check came on. Vividly remember those checkered fits. I may have screamed. Then cried inside when it came 12th.
