Thank you as always for your patience and also just generally thank you for following this journey along with me, it's been a good time overall.

I said at the end of the ep that I would move onto PD101 after a couple of weeks break, but given my current situation, sitting down to watching 2.5 hour episodes of something isn't really possible. SOOOOOO....

I'll instead be starting IZ*ONE CHU! I know this is something a lot of you have been asking for and I was going to start it soon anyway so figured why not do it now.

Looking forward to getting into that with you all.

Starting chu soon after pd48 is a good idea because there is some bleed over pd48 content in the first few episodes.

Great reactions. Great to hear you will continue with Chu. Ka Eun has recently released a single, and has her own youtube channel. Yena and Eunbi has made special clip in support of her debut.; Miyu has moved to Korea, and signed with Mystic - there was a planned girl group debut in 2020. but COVID seems to have affeted it. She also has a youtube channel. Miru and Miho went back to AKB, and has also all opened their own youtube channels, and spoke about Izone. Chowon has since starred in a low-budget indie movie.

Thank you! what a journey the produce reactions have been for me. It's been a joy to see you fall in love with the girls who stole my heart 2 years ago. As a huge wiz*one this is awesome. Trust me, seeing this finale live, was an experience to say the least.. Can't wait for CHU now :D

Kahi from After School was like 28 when she debuted with them.. and I believe G.O.D's Park Joon Hyung was like 29. I think those were the oldest to debut??

Thank so much for the reactions ☺️ I remember how emotionally draining this was watching this for the first time but that was also the day I knew ulting these 12 girls was gonna be the best decision of my life. Just a suggestion if you can fit it in, but I would really really recommend checking out their debut showcon before IZ*ONE CHU! This has indeed been a long and great journey. I truly enjoyed taking part along this series. Interesting note, when you asked Sakura if she was okay while they were waiting to call out Chaeyeon's name, she was actually hyperventilating. Also, Sakura didn't cry when she was placed second, but instead cried when Chaeyeon was finally called 12th. This really goes to show how much Sakura really relies on her and enjoys her presence. On the other hand, I'm really glad to see that you're starting the IZ*ONE Chu series starting next week. Looking forward to it 😀😀🤘

Some “fun facts”: Miho and Miru are the only contestants in produce history to rank first in their groups for every evaluation. Also, Miru is the only overall winner of the concept evaluation not to make it to the final lineup. This isn’t counting the first season because they didn’t release individual rankings for the concept evaluation.

Also since I’ll be forever pressed about Kaeun not making it, some more fun facts! She’s the only contestant in produce history to both rank number 1 multiple weeks AND never rank outside the debut cut line to not make the final line up. Other contestants have “achieved” one or the other, but not both. Plus, the only other contestant who had their lowest rank be higher than Kaeun’s is Sakura. Wonyoung tied with her. Finally, she’s the only royal A from her season to make the finale and not debut. Of course, this is all based on mnet not lying about votes prior to the finale, which... you know.

Juri not making it still gets to me. She was my favorite when I didn't know IZONE and I really feel so sad watching this episode again. Ugh. I know she got to debut in Korea but, no offense to fans of them, but Rocket Punch isn't IZONE. Her relationship with Yena was awesome to watch and I really wish he had 2 1/2 years of it in IZONE.

As great as it was to revisit pd48 and see how far everyone come, this episode had me cringing every time Lee Seung Gi said the rankings were solely based on the ntl pd's votes lol

Thanks for this journey through PD48 rewatching it you was enjoying. Honestly I cried a lot more when chaeyeon got 12th place 😭😭. But that was 2 years ago. Now i'm fine. You need to know that Daehwi lived with Chaeyeon as a trainee and consider her as his second mother, she was the one who sang the guide when he composed new song. About the rigged votes, it's sure is bad but the persons responsible are in prison right now, let's forget about it, the trial is now over, and Korea people doesn't care anymore. There's a mistranslation during that touching Sakura/Chaeyeon moment. Sakura says, "Thank you for always being my support," not "Thank you for always trying your best," (which doesn't even make sense given the context of the situation), which totally hits different. Like... that's gotta be one of the worst places to make a mistranslation.

thanks u for PD48 rxs ㅋㅋㅋ i really enjoyed it cuz of ur rx again.... Yeap now #5,#6 were Gaeun and Chowonㅠㅠ it was really sad thing and also 'IZ*ONE' members were victims bout scandal u know. I wanst a big fan of K-POP before i watched PD48ㅋㅋㅋ but this program made me fan of all girls kkkk Plz support our girls ㅎㅎㅎ and i also support u Kaia ㅎㅎ
