Change in currency [Euro] - Voting poll (Patreon)

Please also read the second post before you make your decision. Because it has potentially changed quite a bit!

So.. It took WAY too long to arrive, but I finally have the option to change this Patreon-page to charge in Euro which is the currency that I am using.
Having this page run on a Dollar Currency has been a thorn in my eye for quite some time and it has been quite troublesome indeed.I can't even count the times that I found myself having to wait to actually 'pay-out' because the dollar price had dropped once again.

While that isn't such a big issue when we are just talking about a single pledge..
If I ended up piling up several months of all pledges, it would be a different story.
The websites I am able to use in order to actually get paid also apply a fee before they convert it to Euro. Ultimately.. This led me to lose around 5-15% of my income depending on the month. And I really really do need to change it.

What this would mean for you:
Essentially, everything will stay as it is. But Patreon will convert or use Euro's instead of Dollars. Which could mean that it gets a little bit more expensive. Around 5-15% more than previously, due to the dollar dropping as much. If Corona wasn't a thing, the change would be much smaller. But it will decrease over time.
The paying process will stay the same and you do not have to change anything.

But I wanted to address you guys first.

My first idea was: To reduce the 'Euro-Price' a bit to match the dollar price while Corona was still such a big thing. But just before releasing the post, I double-checked and found out: That I am completely unable to change any prices. The option is greyed out and I am unable to edit it without making an utter mess out of this Patreon-page. The only way would be to make a new tier.
But due to the way Patreon works, this would lock all previous posts for the 'new tiers'. So.. this is unfortunately not an option.

However..
I still wanted to give you a way to voice your opinion about it.
While I am not really asking whether or not I should do it (Because I really need to), I am asking if you dislike the change or if you are Okay with it.

As of right now.. The dollar course has tanked quite a bit.
1€ is essentially 0.85$ at the time where I was writing this. It used to be around 0.94 just 2-3 months ago. And I fully expect it to go back up. It just needs a bit of time. The main reason for this is most likely the pandemic.

I really do hope that you guys don't dislike this change and I do hope that you can tolerate it.
It's essentially a small raise in my prices. But I do promise you, after this, there's nothing that will change regarding my prices. Since I was never planning on ever actually raising them.
I am mainly talking to the Gold-tier members, since all lower tiers will experience quite a raise in 'what they get' after the point-system is implemented.

Well, the Gold tier will also see a positive change.
Once that Motion capture suit is ready to be used, the animations will most likely become longer and more detailed AND better. But since that also applies to the other tiers, I wanted to point that out specifically.

I am not going to bark at anyone who is willing to voice their dislike about this change.
But a part of me hopes, that you can understand it and that you'll be okay with it. 

I will make sure to show my gratitude. How does more Voting polls sound like?
Voting polls, in which you can influence what kind of moves/situations will be created and what characters will be used for it?
They have been a bit rare. But I am looking to integrate you guys more. So I will do my best to give you more and more ways to voice your opinion so that you can tell me, where you would like all of this to go.

I feel like I really have to say this.
The journey up until this point was just beautiful.
And while the conversion process of the suit is giving me some trouble, I nearly can't wait to finally use it and to bring you even more amazing creations.
I want to thank each and every one of you for your support.
Even, if you only hop in every now and then.. And especially, if you stuck with me for several months.
We are definitely close to a big positive change when it comes to these creations.
As mentioned, they'll get longer, better, and more detailed AND they will feel more alive.

PS: I am nervous about posting this.
I really want to adjust the current tier prices to match the change. And I will go and ask patreon if there is an easy solution that allows me to do so. But until then.. I really hope that this Voting poll is able to calm me down about this change. Either way.. You guys are the best. I really do deeply appreciate you.
