Oh no, not being able to paint magma is my biggest hobby flaw. I won't be able to do it justice...

I'm in the same boat. With magma, the paint job is so crucial. Otherwise it can look like a rock troll, clay golem, etc. None of which are bad, but yeah. Guess it's time for me to start looking up some tutorials.

Base color: black, contour line fill: red, chasms : orange to yellow gradiants. Thats my recipe for a nice magmatic appearance.
