Hey everyone!

This Patreon has grown a lot and so has model output. We thank each and everyone of you for supporting.

During this time we made a point on our models here:   https://www.patreon.com/posts/34661346

Tj Robichaux has been producing the presupported models for everyone the past months for free. Most of you had the chance to test them out and we had great feedback.

Since this is turning to a part time job (to say the least) for TJ as he spends a lot of hours supporting the models but also answering your questions on Discord and Facebook and talking to you for feedback, this time spent is only fair to be compensated.

There are two options here, we either compensate TJ for his work or most probably we will stop offering presupported models.

*UPDATE* For clarity, the existing tiers will remain as they are, new ones will be added offering presupported models if there is enough interest.

We are thinking about charging 3-4$ for the presupported files. Some of this goes to Patreon fees and some to taxes etc but we think it will be enough for us to keep working with TJ and making great presupported files for you.

For those of you who have not yet tested the presupported files, feel free to do so and vote on the poll here, your opinion is valuable and the poll will remain active until the end of the month.

If we actually do this, new presupported tiers will effectively be activated from May 1. There is also a possibility we make the presupported files a store feature and not integrate them into the Patreon tiers.

Feel free to put your thoughts in the comments

Cheers,

The Archvillain Team

all of the pre supported models i printed broke. supports were too thin.

That's the opposite of all the other feedback. The general consensus is the supports are too thick. If you could put a post in the Archvillain facebook or discord we can try some troubleshooting. You really shouldnt be having an issue because of thin supports.

Hey TJ - My .02 cents.. if you support with thin supports and can print successfully on your printer (and at least one or two other people can on theirs.. and you aren't hearing mass feedback on problems with that model.. then go for it! Some people have too fast lift speeds, cold resin, worn out feps, you name it. Just saying don't sweat it! I haven't printed any of yours yet but please shoot for tiny contact points for the support heads.

I haven't had any issues with supports being too thin... though I have with certain other presupported patreons. You might have an exposure issue.
