So a lot of people like the hero we did this month, Gharl the cleric and we started discussing making some heroes for you every month, probably 3-4 and usually matching the theme of the villains, something like the Heroes opposing the Villains coming out each month.
Since that would effectively require hiring another artist we would probably price this at  5 - 8 $ as a pack that would effectively create new tiers.

You would still have the option to get just the percs you are getting now at the same tiers. We would just create a new tier for people who want the hero minis too.

We would like to hear your take on this!
Would you like to have a party of heroes each month for an extra cost on your subscription?

Personally, I voted "No"...not because I'm not interested in the heroes, but just because the price hike would not be worth it. If there was some way to work something in, (Maybe a single hero?) then that would be great. If not, then so be it. The #1 appeal of y'all's work to me is the coherent modules with unique minis.

I think its unclear if the additional price would be an elective price change or not. I think what is being offered is the ability to increase your subscription cost if you wanted heros but keep you cost the same and just not get the hero minis but others still could. I could be wrong though.

Hmm... I'm not sure, it would depend on what they're like. Especially if it's going to be by a new artist, there's a fair bit of uncertainty there, and for a price range of $1.25 to $2.67 per mini I wouldn't commit to a "yes."

Well I’m at the 14$ arch villain tier with all the modular maps I love it and I would love more awesome sculpts but I don’t think can’t justify $8 more a month.

Considering some patreons out there already offer the amount of minis you do or more, for roughly the same price you're at, I don't think I'd be able to justify spending up to 8 bucks more.

Would the heroes also come with character sheets in the supplement? I think that would add a bit to the value, and make it a bit easier to run canned one-shots with the scenarios.

ArchvillainGames

Certainly! Character sheets and NPC blocks if you want to use them like that would be what we are thinking of

As much as I would love hero minis from you guys oh, I think I have to agree with some others that I can't justify the price increase.

I think that if you add professional supports for resin printers and the heroes, it will justify the 8$

ArchvillainGames

We understand. However we aim to commit the same quality and direction as we already work with various artists! Thank you for the feedback!

It's not so much that you're asking too much. If you're planning a whole additional set on top of what you're producing already, you should charge more. For me, I'm already supporting over 20 Patreons, so I just can't justify paying even more. I'm already past the point where I need to probably drop a couple. Maybe you could do one or two fewer monsters to do one or two heroes? You could incorporate them into the adventures as important NPCs or pre-made heroes.

My 2 cents would be instead on adding multiple heroes for massive price increase, perhaps add a single hero monthly as a reward. And then suggest additional heroes per Patreon members. People will come once you do more and more great stuff and that will lead to more and more money to creators. I believe AG is a great example.

While I love your work, this is one of the more expensive patreons I am supporting on a "per model" value. I'm also supporting four other patreons that have a similar quality and release 6 - 8 minis for a $5.00 - $5.50 tier. I really couldn't justify paying more into this one, even if the quality of the sculpts are fantastic. It would mean pulling from one of the other patreons I support, so I couldn't see myself buying the hero tier.

That's a good suggestion. I'm not sure what deal you make with external artists, but it isn't like you have to pay extra for materials and shipping to more people.
