Monthly Progress Report - March/April (Patreon)

Hello!

Thanks everybody for the BLAST of a launch we had last month! We did it, we released Chapter 1 on Steam and Itch.io as well as here to all according patrons!

Thank you, really. Besides working together on Elfheim, we are also a small group of three friends, and well, when this project started we did not foresee the places that it could grow to be. To release our game on Steam wasn't even a thought back then, but thanks to all of you, here we are! Finally, thanks for your support, engagement, suggestions, conversations... every single moment helped us into shaping this project from a dream into reality. Thank you!

Leading up to the launch in March we had a few previews for the updates we had in mind for Chapter 1, the first one shows the starting forest, next there's the Great Library and a final post features a lot of comparisons showing the improvements we had in mind for this final major update.

We did it! It's out! Chapter 1 has been released on Steam and Itch.io as well as here! Our goal with this large update was to improve many of our earlier artworks, give a final pass to the script and polish our soundtrack. It's almost a brand new experience! If you haven't yet, get there, download it and have a lovely time!

Moving forward with Elfheim once more in a hopefully monthly basis, we have by the end of March we released an update for Chapter 2, Version 0.1.6. A short update, but a good one nonetheless, it features some of the best angles for Nil, as well as an overload of slime! It is already available to download for anyone on the Bronze Tier or above, Iron Tier will have have access tomorrow, and Porcelain by the 24th!

There is also a new Elvish Pack, with all the goodies and everything else that is used in our projects. Available to everyone on the Gold Tier!
PS: Next Elvish Pack will contain all goodies from Chapter 1 Steam Edition too!!!
