Character Sneak Peek - Part 2 - Meriandra (Patreon)

Hello!

For this week we will be previewing an intellectual exhibition, or should I say, an intellectual exhibitionist? Well, in any case, welcome to Meriandra’s week! But before we continue, I just want to announce a little change, we will be switching the order of posts for this character week and for future ones too, first comes the introduction of her attributes and qualities, as well as her personality and relationships, then our illustrious Elvish Curators and beyond get to see her sprite preview later in the week.

Free time is a rare thing for Meriandra, she spends her days diligently studying and improving her magic while working as Morgana's faithful assistant, she is often sent to do research and investigation about all kinds of natural and supernatural events, and even sometimes, getting in trouble while doing so.

If all you knew about her came from the last paragraph, you could think that she is a very serious girl that only has eyes for books and her tasks, but let's be honest here, it’s common knowledge in Elfheim that she loves walking around without her underwear, going COMMANDO is what she does to relax, and believe me, her dedication at work makes her want to relax A LOT.

Meriandra is very respectful to her elders, she listens to Arien’s guidance and thoroughly looks up to her master Morgana, even though she’s always “secretly” trying to surpass her skills. Much like the other Elves, she is friendly to, but not actually close to Ur Yimir. She is also one of Nil's best friends, even if they have distinct ideas about what’s fun; Meriandra likes to enjoy a quiet study room while Nil enjoys running around in the woods, or running around in general, really.

But no friends in the world need to like the exact same things! Their bonds come from their love of skinny dipping in lakes and going together on adventures that could uncover some forgotten mystery or ancient ruin, but adventuring is also dangerous, so much that they get reprimanded almost every time they come back from one, yet they both relish their time together anyway.

In present days, Meriandra finds a human alongside Nil while they were bathing in the Crystal Lake, this discovery leads her to study this very rare creature for the first time, naturally by searching the archives for clues, then by getting close... personally.
