Decided to do a little video answer about some redraw questions people were asking. Maybe I’ll make this a regular thing. It’s easier than typing stuff out too much.

I kept it fairly short. Only four minutes and change!

I’m a bit surprised that people asked full complete comic redoes when they are already done. Single image re do’s are a pleasant new thing you do that I’m enjoying but that adore you seem quite busy And yeah if you start doing more short videos I’m sure you can spruce up the background a bit or even just have that new placeholder wolf do the talking for ya if need be

I personally wouldn’t be opposed to you taking a month off of working in new comics and instead just doing one off pages. That way we could get content from multiple different characters in a short period of time.

I used to ask my 2 or 3 fans what stories they wanted me to write and eventually came to the conclusion that art - literature, music, etc - requires a benevolent dictatorship. Do what you feel. I'll still be a fan, as I have been for the past decade or so.

What would you think about doing full detailed versions of "abridged" comics, and then releasing the "director's cut" as rougher/black and white drawings? That way you can work faster, but still show everything you want to show for the more dedicated audience

There are a few select comics I'd love to see updated/redrawn, but I can totally understand your reason for not doing so. That being said, in my opinion, your older works still look great. :D Also, can we see your chickens? O:

Art should always be primarily for the self, imo. It's fine and cool to do things your fans enjoy, but, one should never put themselves into a position where they allow their fans to entirely dictate what is done. Do something you love and eventually others with a similar interest will come to watch. We follow creators for the things -they- create, not the things we want them to create.
