Fiddling around with a fuzzy texture. I may decide to use something like this in the future, a little more sparingly than I used it here, as I was practicing. We'll see.

I wasn't sure at first with the black and white shot, but seeing her colorized she's really looking a lot better...

A little more sparingly I think would be right. There are *couple* spots that look more like sparely-hairy skin than fuzzy fur, but even then I see the effect you're going for. It's definitely worth tinkering with to make it look more like actual fur texture than colored skin.

I really like how her fur/hair turned out here. It'd be especially cool to see how it if it is wet, unkempt, etc. but then again I could appreciate how much more work that'd be.

Really great job you make a great example how to use fuzzy texture. Which in my opinion looks a little difficult to get right without hit that mark of fully texture.

I agree fully with Badger23, I love your work, but you make your art feel so realistic. The fur seems soft and real, your characters in your stories have flaws despite their raw beauty, if life could realize your art, I feel this world would be a better place to live.
