Put together another video for the Steering Committee tier. This one is just eight minutes long, and I talk about the three main things I'm working on, including the Serena project, and where I'm finding time for it all.

Thank you for the new video, Jay. Definitely good news for me to be able to see new Brooke pages in the near future and one of them already this week. :-) I kinda like the thought that Serena might be as shy as she is inexperienced but because of her job and the tone of her hair nobody would ever suggest it I suppose. At first I wasn’t very happy about it that we actually created a lioness but it is not the first time that my opinion changed as the project came to live with your art. The idea of having her think about her „options“ and be embarrassed or mad about it sure is a funny idea. I kinda like the idea that she‘ll just find a man who gives her what she needs (mentally and physically). Maybe not the most „thrilling“ storyline but a good romance wouldn’t hurt once in a while. What do you think of this idea? Greetings!

So glad you don’t just follow the typical asshat when it comes to this stuff, your stories would be so boring. Thank you for keeping a reasonable thought process when taking suggestions and the like and for keeping us fed with new material regularly. Just a couple questions on my end and I will be off: 1.) You think Samantha will ever make an appearance in anything soon? (Be a hell of a thing having her show up in Serena’s story somehow). 2.) How long do you plan to keep Serena and Brooke going?

I think finding the "perfect" partner who is fulfilling in every way is the ideal for real life and makes the happiest people, but it doesn't lend itself to exciting adult stories.

Samantha lives in the Original Life universe, and Serena lives in her own fan-made universe, so Samantha can't appear there in any meaningful sense. I don't have any plans for Samantha right now. She was kind of a one-note character with an intense breeding fetish who became a plaything in Priscilla's circles. Once that was fulfilled to a degree, I haven't thought about her much, past that. I would probably have to evolve her, give her a nice home, a stipend, and the rigors of motherhood. She'd be a different kind of character, older, more motherly. I don't have a time limit set for when I'll "finish" Brooke or Serena. I just keep working on it so long as I have the ideas. Right now Brooke is about as close to a "webcomic" as I have, in that it's open ended.

Ah, right, completely ignored the difference universe thing when I asked that. Oh well, I had little hope that she would end up in a story again, just curious was all. Well, so long as you don’t random drop off the face of the earth I say any amount of time put into either of the stories is good enough.

No prob. I try not to just keep revisiting the same themes, too often, with the same characters, as they evolve and change over time. And I like to incorporate consequences into things, and not just have events "floating". (think about how Rachel turned out). So if we see Samantha again, she won't quite be in the same situation or even have the same attitude.

Thanks again Jay, glad your having fun with all your projects In regards to Serena, as her personality took shape I was surprised when you asked us to simply float ideas your way, I had thought you would make another poll since her personality deemed her a certain way. Naturally my mind wandered a bit as did the others for the sexy fun stuff so I imagine she'd just let her fantasies run wild at this point without the actual consequences of what would happen in real life as we all so often do perhaps. On polls, perhaps you should ask the steering committee what should the priority on your second task be, whether it's Brooke or Serena or heck maybe even the Ask questions (cause I was really enjoying those and I miss those ;)

Thanks for the update Jay, im glad you are enjoying this comic so far. That can be a real pain when your drawing because you have to and not because you want to. For what its worth i think it looks great so far, i was particularly fond of the surfing scene. Dont really know why, i just thought it looked really good.

Oh, i just thought of one other thing that i wanted to enquirer about. You recently did two outstanding pieces; one of Aron and Hilde and another with Aron and Zoe. Is there any chance that we may see any more of Aron's lovers pop up in a stand alone like this? I would love to see of of him and Audry or him and Beth.
