Hello dear utopians,

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and that your loved ones spoiled you well. Today I'm asking you to decide whether or not the town of Jean-du-Bartail on Grand Utopia should have its own motorway exit.

In fact, the town is located on the edge of the A4 motorway, but does not have an interchange. At present, to get to the town you have to exit at Gebbbe-du-Montargis and cross the town centre to reach the ferry that links the two towns.

When I created these two cities, I found the idea of a ferry quite appealing (especially as there were no other ferries on Grand Utopia at the time). Today, I'd like to know whether you'd like to facilitate access to Jean-du-Bartail by building a new interchange nearby, or whether you'd prefer to keep it 'isolated' from the motorway network.

The choice is yours!

Bonjour chers utopiens,

J'espère que vous avez passé un merveilleux Noël et que vous avez tous été bien gâtés par vos proches. Aujourd'hui, je fais appel à votre pouvoir de décision pour savoir si la ville de Jean-du-Bartail sur Grand Utopia doit avoir ou non sa propre sortie d'autoroute.

En effet, la ville est située au bord de l'autoroute A4 sans pour autant profiter d'un échangeur. Actuellement, pour se rendre à la ville vous devez sortir à Gebbbe-du-Montargis et traverser le centre-ville pour atteindre le ferry qui lie les deux cités.

Quand j'ai créé ces deux villes, je trouvais l'idée du ferry assez plaisante (d'autant plus qu'il n'y avait  pas d'autres ferry sur Grand Utopia à l'époque). Ajourd'hui, je souhaite savoir si vous aimeriez facilité l'accès à Jean-du-Bartail via la construction d'un nouvel échangeur à proximité ou si vous préférez garder son côté "isolée" du réseau autoroutier.

C'est à vous de décider !

I Like the Idea how it looks atm. I don't use ferrys (only where ist nobother way i use one) and If you would travel there, you must take a nice longer way ☺️

In any case, even if a motorway exit is created, the ferry will still be available for nostalgic travellers. And it will still be the fastest way to make the journey between Gebbbe and Jean-du-Bartail. 😄

I think it should be left as is atm, there needs to be an incentive to use the ordinary roads without everywhere having access to a motorway to rush along on.
