Hello dear Utopians,

It's Friday and time to review the events of the past few weeks!

[1] AKOKAN ISLAND

This week, construction of the F6 and F2 roads was completed. 🥳 At least the section between Port-Méli ↔ Gougaram ↔ Taggafadi. There's still a section of F2 to be built in the direction of Vieux-Habitants. I'll give you another look at the island's roadmap to get a better idea.

For your information, the distance between Port-Méli and Taggafadi is 15 km (real as usual 😜).

Right now, I'm thinking of heading off to the west of the island to tackle the creation of Assamaka. This will allow me to start extending the D29 and F3.

I intend to make as much progress as possible on this add-on during the month of August, in order to publish a new version at the beginning of September. It's quite possible that not all the villages will be present, and I apologize for that.

I'd rather not wait too long before resuming the creation of Grand Utopia, where I still have a lot of work to do! 😅

[2] UPCOMING COMPETITION

While chatting on the Discord, the question of flags came up. While Mygotopia already has a flag, it's true that Grand Utopia has none. Indeed, as I consider Grand Utopia to be a French region, I use the French flag throughout the map, as you may have noticed. However, it's true that giving our utopia a regional flag is an excellent idea.

That's why one of you suggested we organize a contest, and I think it's a great idea, as it's sure to liven up our community of Utopian truckers.

So I'm going to start organizing all this behind the scenes, but I'll be sure to let you know when there's any news!

Il est vendredi et il est l'heure de passer en revue les événements de ces semaines passées !

[1] AKOKAN ISLAND

Cette semaine, la construciton de la route F6 et la route F2 s'est achevée 🥳 Du moins, la portion entre Port-Méli ↔ Gougaram ↔ Taggafadi. Il reste en effet un bout de F2 à construire en direction de Vieux-Habitants. Je vous laisser revoir la roadmap de l'île pour mieux visualiser.

Pour votre information, la distance séparant Port-Méli et Taggafadi est de 15 km (rééls comme d'habitude 😜).

À présent, je pense que je vais partir à l'Ouest de l'île pour attaquer la création d'Assamaka. Ce qui me permettra d'entamer la prolongation de la D29 et de la F3.

Je compte avancer autant que possible sur cet add-on pendant le mois d'août pour vous publier une nouvelle version début Septembre. Il est fort possible que tous les villages ne soient pas présents du coup et je m'en excuse.

Je préfère ne pas trop attendre avant de reprendre la création de Grand Utopia, où il me reste encore beaucoup de boulot ! 😅

[2] ORGANISATION D'UN CONCOURS PROCHAINEMENT

En discutant sur le Discord, la question des drapeaux a été soulevée. Alors que Mygotopia dispose bien d'ores-et-déjà d'un drapeau, il est vrai que Grand Utopia n'en possède aucun. En effet, comme je considère Grand Utopia comme étant une région française, j'utilise le drapeau français à travers la map, comme vous avez pu le remarquer. Toutefois, il est vrai qu'attribuer à notre utopie un drapeau régional est une excellente idée.

C'est pourquoi la suggestion de l'organisation d'un concours a été formulée par l'un d'entre vous et je trouve l'idée super puisque cela va permettre d'animer un peu plus notre belle communauté de routiers utopiens.

Je vais donc commencer à organiser tout ça en coulisses mais je ne manquerai pas de vous tenir informés quand il y aura du nouveau à ce sujet !
