The Weekly Report #57 | March 4, 2023 (Patreon)

Hello dear Patrons,

It's Friday (oops, Saturday!) and it's time to review the events of the past week!

[1] MYGOTOPIA

This week, the exit of the La Josefine tunnel on the Mygotopia side was completed. The tunnel is now operational 😄

So I was able to start creating a first section of Route 1 towards Liberty Bay. I took a lot of pictures of this section which you can find in the gallery of this post.

As you probably know, for Mygotopia I try to follow the background map as much as possible in terms of environment (mountainous areas, rivers, plains, etc.). The portion of Route 1 I have to create between Foxhaven and Liberty Bay will therefore meander between the mountains on one side 🌄 and the sea on the other 🌅

[2] A NEW VOTE IS UNDERWAY

This week, I have also submitted a new vote to let you decide whether or not we should change the turn signs on Mygotopia. If you missed the publication, don't panic. There are still a few hours left to vote, as the voting closes tomorrow at midnight (French time).

At the time of writing, it looks like option A (Finnish signs) is the winner!

[3] MORE DEDICATIONS TO THE PATRONS!

On Mygotopia, the road infrastructures (bridges, tunnels, etc.) are named according to the pseudonyms of the Globetrotters members of the Patreon as they are created on the map. As the list of members is moving, I follow a list in chronological order of membership of active members at the moment.

As the number of Globetrotters is steadily increasing, I have taken the initiative to add a new type of infrastructure to speed up the allocation of dedications. In the next version of Mygotopia, road interchanges will also be dedicated!

Nous sommes vendredi (oups, samedi !) et il est l'heure de passer en revue les événements de cette semaine passée !

[1] MYGOTOPIA

Cette semaine, la sortie du tunnel de La Josefine côté Mygotopia a été terminée. Ce dernier est opérationnel 😄

J'ai donc pu entamer la création d'une première portion de la Route 1 en direction de Liberty Bay. Je vous ai pris plein de photos de cette section que vous pouvez retrouver dans la galerie de ce post.

Comme vous le savez sûrement, pour Mygotopia j'essai de suivre au mieux le fond de carte en terme d'environnement (zones montagneuses, rivières, plaines, etc.). La portion de la Route 1 que j'ai à créer entre Foxhaven et Liberty Bay serpentera donc entre les montagnes d'un côté 🌄 et la mer de l'autre 🌅

[2] UN NOUVEAU VOTE EST EN COURS

Cette semaine, je vous ai également soumis un nouveau vote afin de vous laisser décider si nous devons ou pas changer les panneaux d'indication de virage sur Mygotopia. Si vous avez râté la publication, pas de panique. Il vous reste encore quelques heures pour voter car le vote se termine demain à minuit (heure française).

À l'heure où j'écris ces lignes, il semblerait que ce soit l'option A (panneaux finlandais) qui soit en tête !

[3] ENCORE PLUS DE DÉDICACES AUX PATRONS !

Sur Mygotopia, les infrastructures routières (ponts, tunnels, etc.) sont nommés selon les pseudos des membres Globetrotters du Patreon au fil de leur création sur la map. Comme la liste des membres est mouvante, je suis une liste classé dans l'ordre chronologique d'adhésion des membres actifs à l'instant T.

Le nombre de Globetrotteur augmentant régulièrement, j'ai pris l'initiative d'ajouter un nouveau type d'infrastructure afin d'accélérer l'attribution des dédicaces. Dans la prochaine version de Mygotopia, les échangeurs routiers seront également dédicacés !
