Follow-up of bug reports for Grand Utopia (Patreon)

Hello dear Patrons,

As announced recently in the article published on the blog of my website, I think it is necessary to review the bug reporting system currently in place. It is true that the latter allows players to report bugs they have encountered via several different channels (website, Discord, e-mail) but unfortunately they do not have the possibility to have a follow-up.

That's why I announced that I wanted to find a new system. After some research and a few exchanges with some Patrons in the private Discord room, I decided to use a unique form system (via Google Forms) linked to a Google Sheets spreadsheet.

As soon as it is officially implemented, bug reports will have to be made only via this form. Players will be able to consult the tracking table before submitting their report, to check if the bug in question has already been reported or not. The contact tab of the site, dedicated to bug reports, will therefore refer to this form and the #bug-report rooms of the Discord will be transformed into support rooms.

There will be one form and one tracking table per map mod: one for Grand Utopia, another for Mygotopia.

I am sending you the links to the spreadsheet and the form for Grand Utopia if you wish to participate in the small test phase. When the time comes, I will reset it for its official release. Of course, if you have any suggestions for improvement, please feel free to comment.

Salut chers Patrons,

Comme annoncé dernièrement dans l'article publié sur le blog de mon site internet, je pense qu'il est nécessaire de revoir le système de rapport de bug actuellement en place. Certes, ce dernier permet aux joueurs de me signaler les bugs qu'ils ont rencontrés via plusieurs canaux différents (site internet, Discord, e-mail) mais ils n'ont malheureusement pas la possibilité d'avoir un suivi.

C'est pourquoi j'ai annoncé vouloir trouver un nouveau système. Après quelques recherches et quelques échanges avec quelques Patrons sur le salon privé du Discord, j'ai décidé d'utiliser un système unique de formulaire (via Google Forms) lié à un tableur Google Sheets.

Ainsi, dès qu'il sera officiellement mis en place, les rapports de bug devront obligatoirement se faire via ce formulaire. Les joueurs auront la possibilité de consulter le tableau de suivi avant de soumettre leur rapport, pour vérifier si le bug en question a déjà été, ou non, signalé. L'onglet contact du site, dédié aux rapports de bugs, renverra donc sur ce formulaire et les salons #bug-report du Discord seront transformés en salons d'entraide.

Il existera un formulaire et un tableau de suivi par map mod : un pour Grand Utopia, un autre pour Mygotopia.

Je vous transmets les liens du tableur et du formulaire pour Grand Utopia si vous souhaitez participer à la petite phase de test. Le moment venu, je le remettrai à zéro pour sa mise à disposition officielle. Bien entendu, si vous avez des suggestions pour l'améliorer, n'hésitez pas vous exprimer en commentaire.
