Weekly Report - January | week #4 (Patreon)

Hello dear Patrons,

It's Sunday, sorry Monday, and it's time to review the events of the past week!

[1] Official release of Mygotopia v0.1

This is the big event of the week! The very first alpha version of the Mygotopia addon has finally been released. The addon allows Globetrotter members to access a brand new country, located north of the island of Grand Utopia, and composed of two villages (Bad Water and Liberty Bay) and one city (Windfield).

I'm very happy to be able to finally give you access to this addon and to be able to collect your feedback in the next few days. From what I have read so far, especially through your messages posted on the Discord, you like this addon and I am very honoured.

This is very motivating for the future but it is now time to return to the creation of Grand Utopia!

[2] Mapping on Grand Utopia

The v0.1 of Mygotopia was published, I will be able to resume the creation of Grand Utopia, with in particular the creation of the south-west of the island (yellow zone according to what you had decided with your power of vote). The next version 1.14 should give you access to two cities and four villages:
∟Sainte-Marie-sur-Mer
∟Saint-Sylvestre-Cappel
∟Sulikôw
∟Salininkai
∟Chaseville
∟Denver

The latter will be, I think, the most anticipated as it will be part of the small British Isles that I plan to do to the west of the coast. Although small, these islands will most likely be expanded in the distant future. I will indeed wait for SCS Software to make a reskin of the UK so that I can work with better quality items and prefabs.

[3] Moving and therefore cutting off the internet!

As mentioned in my previous Weekly Report, my wife and I moved in this weekend. We are now almost fully settled but we have to wait for our internet connection to be back in place. This will take a few days (hopefully not more ^^) and I will therefore be less present on the social networks and the Discord. I apologize for that!

But don't worry, I'll take the opportunity to start working on Grand Utopia. No need for an internet connection to map xD

RAPPORT HEBDOMADAIRE - JANVIER | SEMAINE #4

Nous sommes dimanche, euh lundi pardon, et il est l'heure de passer en revue les événements de cette semaine passée !

[1] Sortie officielle de Mygotopia v0.1

C'est le gros événement de cette semaine ! La toute première version alpha de l'addon Mygotopia a été enfin publiée. Cette dernière permet aux membres Globetrotter d'accéder à un tout nouveau pays, situé au nord de l'île de Grand Utopia, et composé de deux villages (Bad Water et Liberty Bay) et d'une ville (Windfield).

Je suis très content de pouvoir enfin vous donner accès à cet addon et de pouvoir recueillir vos retours dans les prochains jours. D'après ce que j'ai pu lire pour le moment, notamment à travers vos messages postés sur le Discord, cet addon vous plait et j'en suis très honoré.

Cela est très motivant pour la suite mais il est maintenant l'heure de revenir à la création de Grand Utopia !

[2] Reprise du mapping sur Grand Utopia

La v0.1de Mygotopia était publiée, je vais pouvoir reprendre la création de Grand Utopia, avec notamment la création du sud-ouest de l'île (zone jaune conformément à ce que vous aviez décidé avec votre pouvoir de vote). La prochaine version 1.14 devrait donc vous donner accès à deux villes et quatre villages :

∟Saint-Sylvestre-Cappel
∟Sulikôw
∟Salininkai
∟Chaseville
∟Denver

Ce dernier sera, je pense, le plus attendu car il fera parti des petites îles britanniques que je compte faire à l'ouest de la côte. Certes petites, ces îles seront très probablement agrandies dans un futur lointain. J'attendrai effectivement que SCS Software fasse un reskin de la Grande -Bretagne pour que je puisse travailler avec des items et des prefabs de meilleur qualité.

[3] Déménagement et donc coupure d'internet !

Comme indiqué dans mon précédant Rapport Hebdomadaire, ma femme et moi avons déménagé ce weekend. Nous sommes à présent presque entièrement installés mais il faut maintenant attendre la remise en place de notre connexion internet. Cela va prendre quelques jours (pas plus j'espère ^^) et je serai donc moins présent sur les réseaux sociaux et le Discord. Veuillez m'en excuser !

Mais ne vous inquiètez pas, je vais en profiter pour commencer le travail sur Grand Utopia. Pas besoin de connexion internet pour mapper xD
