Weekly Report - January | week #3 (Patreon)

Hello dear Patrons,

It's Sunday and time to review the events of the past week!

[1] Creation of route R1

Last week, I started mapping the R1 route, between Windfield and Liberty Bay. About 15/20 km long (sorry, I haven't looked into it yet 😅 ), this section winds between the sea and the mountains all along the coast. The R1 route will be a major axis as it will allow you to travel from East to West, without having to go much further North to catch the HW-1 highway.

As I write this, the mapping of this area is almost complete. There are about 5 kilometres to go, which should take me another day or two. After that, I'll move on to fixing the few small bugs and mapping errors that I detected during my road testing sessions.

[2] MyGotopia v0.1 availability

Finally! I can see the end of this first version. I think I can now place the release of Mygotopia v0.1 sometime next week. I'm very excited to finally give you access to this new addon and I'm really looking forward to your feedback!

As a reminder, early access to my major mods and addons projects is a benefit given only to Globetrotter members.

[3] What next?

Once the first version of Mygotopia is released, I'm going to take a little break from creating my mods as my wife and I are moving into our new house! It's our first purchase and we're really looking forward to getting the keys 😍 For those of you who also follow me on my private Instagram account (@kev_mntl), there will most likely be a few photos of our new cocoon posted soon. Of course, once we're settled in, I'll be back to creating the next version 1.14 of Grand Utopia!

RAPPORT HEBDOMADAIRE - JANVIER | SEMAINE #1

Nous sommes dimanche et il est l'heure de passer en revue les événements de cette semaine passée !

[1] Création de la route R1

La semaine dernière, j'ai entamé le mapping de la route R1, entre Windfield et Liberty Bay. Longue d'environ 15/20 km (désolé, je n'ai pas encore regardé avec précision 😅), cette portion serpente entre mer et montagne sur tout le long de la côte. La route R1 sera un axe majeur car il permettra de circuler d'Est en Ouest, sans devoir remonter bien plus au nord pour attraper l'autoroute HW-1.

À l'heure où j'écris ces lignes, le mapping de cette zone est presque terminé. Il doit rester environ 5 kilomètres à finir, ce qui devrait me prendre un ou deux jours encore. Par la suite, je passerai à la correction des quelques petits bugs et erreurs de mapping que j'ai détecté durant mes sessions de tests routiers.

[2] Date de disponibilité de MyGotopia v0.1

Enfin ! Je vois le bout de cette première version. À présent, je pense pouvoir situer la publication de la v0.1 de Mygotopia dans le courant de la semaine prochaine. Je suis très excité à l'idée de vous donner enfin accès à ce nouvel addon et j'ai vraiment hâte d'avoir vos retours !

Pour rappel, l'accès anticipé à mes projets majeurs de mods et d'addons est un avantage donné uniquement aux membres Globetrotter.

[3] Et après ?

Une fois que la première version de Mygotopia sera publiée, je vais faire une petite pause dans la création de mes mods car ma femme et moi allons emménager dans notre nouvelle maison ! C'est notre premier achat et nous sommes vraiment impatient d'avoir les clés 😍 Pour ceux qui me suivent également sur mon compte Instagram privé (@kev_mntl), il est fort probable quelques photos de notre nouveau cocon soient publiées prochainement.
Évidemment, une fois bien installé, je reprendrai la création de la prochaine version 1.14 de Grand Utopia !
