I'm excited to share with you my latest documentary. This video will take an unfiltered look at the Drill Music Scene in Sweden. Generally considered one of Europe's safest countries, over the last few decades social problems have been brewing under the surface. After an influx of migrants from warzones, and the ghettoization of the Swedish 'suburbs' many of the poorest and most neglected areas of Sweden have erupted with gang violence. As the gangs took hold of communities, waging war against their opps, so too has Gangsta Rap emerged from within the gangs in Sweden. Over the last few years Chicago Drill music has heavily influenced this once safe country. Leading to the meteoric rise of violent rap music that reflects the day to day battles going on in the streets. 2 Warring Gangs by the names of The Death Patrol and The Shottaz have brought chaos and destruction to the streets of Sweden. These gangs go further than almost any western gangs, to the point where bombing opps apartment buildings and recorded 'humiliation attacks' have become commonplace. Sadly the out of control gang war would ultimately end up taking the life of the countries biggest Gangsta Rap star Einar, with another infamous drill rapper in the country Yasin being accused of a plot to kidnap his biggest rival. This story is one of the darkest and most twisted gang conflicts I have ever covered. I hope you find it interesting.
