Finally, I'm saying it! I'm not forcing myself anymore to do a doodle related to what I have to say, so this will help a lot to be more frequent to post
Anyway, let's move on to the main focus!

In this period I'm working on Claire a lot I can say, in general, an all Purgatory's characters, which maybe I will do a little scheme on stuff that I added!
I'm still pretty unsure about Claire's backstory, I still didn't find something that fits her. However, I want a past that was pretty traumatic for her, most in her childhood. I have a few ideas, but no spoilers!
Since the past will be pretty heavy for a kid that caused her death at teenage ( 20+ is still teenage! ), she really refuses to believe she is dead.

Why does she have this big switches of moods?

Well, I finally have a proper answer: she suffers the borderline disorder. If you didn't know, borderline is pretty similar to bipolarity, aka your mood switches fastly, but there are some differences. In the case of borderline, it changes if something happens, if you feel empty or need to understand something but can't find an answer. Also, the most important thing, is that you feel 2 dominant, desperate feelings at the same moment, which gives a lot of confusion.
By having this disorder, it's pretty normal to change her tone of voice and contradicts herself while speaking, but this is influenced also by the overdose of her mental medications.
She feels lost, she doesn't understand how she is, who she is, so her mental illness became her own personality, to recover this emptiness that she had insider herself.

Why is she so obsessed with love?

It's nothing related to "yandere " stuff or similar, those concepts are things that I hate a lot. How I said before, there isn't yet a solid backstory for her, however, the desperation of needing love is related to it. She never had affection from people close to her, giving her big trust issues, but in a period of time, love was the only thing that made her feel good and important to someone's eyes. Too bad, that it ended. I can give a little spoiler related to this idea, but I really think I will make Claire having feelings towards someone that wasn't really good. I will not say more!

Sunflowers

Sunflowers were her company on her life, it gave a big impact on her childhood. The biological actions of them, aka going down without sun and " dancing " with it, it really represented her feelings and how she saw herself, she felt like something was trying to say that it was okay how she felt and she isn't the only one, normalizing it. Also for her, sunflowers represent joy, which is a feeling that she truly never felt. So having around her sunflowers, it can help her to reach this big goal. At least, this is what she thinks. This is also why she has a plant shop. A little fun fact is that she thinks she at first, was going to born as a plant and not as a human. The reason will be known in future
