Hey there!

Update on what's going on with the game this week. This week I'm letting you inside my design process, because there is a lot that comes to it.

At the beginning of the week I've sat down and started trying hard to design a good level up system. Yup! I want for our maids skills and for our cafe to have a level system, where you spent points to improve them.

Right now, after hard math and brain storm, I think we will be using maids popularity points to spent on unlocks, with next levels locked until you meet the charm and appearance requirements - and maybe some others requirements. This will change the way abilities work - right now this is automatic, 4-5 different levels for each ability, happening in the background based on charm and appearance but thanks to that change, it will be clear for everyone how do they work and player gets to influence them.

The example of level influence (it may change):
- Special care lvl 1 - unlocks the ability (after first day your maid have enough points to unlock it)
- Special care lvl 2 - increase base tips of a client by 10%
- Special care lvl 6 - increase base tips of a client by 50% - max level

Other example - clients spawning on their own (without maid inviting in front of the shop), each level of that would reduce the time between clients spawning on their own or would increase the chance to appear.

Still, I won't be able to finish it this week for sure, but I will finish it this month.  But please, do let me know what you think! Nothing is set in stone and I want to make a game, you and I will enjoy! I'm sure this level up system will be a great feature for a player!

In the meantime I also spent some time on making cafe popularity little more impactful to the gameplay. 

As I'm writing this, I'm changing the way the clients spawn at the start of the game. The higher the popularity of your cafe, the less time between each spawn of the client (and at the same time more clients - it caps at certain point so you won't get spammed by clients every second). This will help new players with figuring out what's happening on first day. The hard part is not to make it boring at the start of the game so I try to hit a balance here.

Also this week I am changing the client spawn based on maids inviting. So now Cynthia while inviting clients will invite more of her kind of clients (Jock and Sport Fans) and she won't invite, for example Anime Fan. I'm also changing the percentage of their spawns, more on it on Sunday.

Next thing I started working on this week is few events for the game, nearly finished the first one and soon I will be working on next. We will see how much I will be able to do this week!
