Secret Care Cafe 0.8.39 - release notes and download (Patreon)

Hope your week started fine!

So, as some of you might know because I was venting on discord, I'm dying from heat, getting irritated by constant crashes in GMS2 every couple minutes and sometimes even seconds (engine of the game) and then I even had problems with creating the builds for I think 2 hours.
Doing any art work and animations in this heat is making my computer heat up the entire flat to the temperature of hell, slowly melting my legs (that's where my pc tower is).

That's why I'm moving the two nsfw events (Ame and CookiexCynthiaxYou) to the next update that I hope to finish next week. I'll let you know in weekly progress how everything is going, but you can bet I'll be working on art only during evenings or night, when the temperature outside is more normal. God I wish I invested in AC a year ago. So, I'm sorry for not providing hard nsfw stuff for this update, I literally couldn't work and think at the same time, but I'll make it up to you, you'll see!

Coming back to the game, we have 3 new short events, a couple of cool additions, remaking of some systems, adjustments based on Poll Comments from you guys and a lot of bug fixes. The list is long so it will be better for you to read it than for me to explain it here as it would create a wall of text.

Secret Care Cafe release notes ver 0.8.39:

New Additions:

- added 3 events (short event with Rai falling down again, first event with wedlock husband, main morning event with Clint unlocking item shop and upgrade menu)

- added a perk to reset 3rd boss and make it appear again

- added a button letting you disable a mouse wheel speed change in escape menu during gameplay

- remade the way clients are spawning, now we will be able to easily influence the chances of a specific client appearing

- remade the way story events are being generated, preventing the end of the day from not wanting to progress in some cases (black screen)

- you can now change the speed of the game with + and - on your keypad

- now the Item Shop and Upgrade Menu are closed until day 4 to prevent new players from spending all of their money first day, instead of focusing on stock

- added to some information when buttons will unlock if hovered over them (Backrooms, item shot, upgrade menu)

Adjustments:

- changed chances for all clients to spawn (and reduced 2 bros spawning at the same time)

- greatly increased chances to see the new random events that are added to the game

- decreased the speed of energy depletion for maids in backrooms

- increased cleanliness restoration from maids' cleaning

- decreased a chance for a client to spawn when no one is inviting (from 50% to 33% if cafe empty and to 16% if cafe has clients), so you have more control over who is being invited

- Roomaid perk now unlocks after beating 3rd boss

- increased starting money from 2000 to 3000

- some code optimization

Bugs and Fixes:

- fixed wrong person talking in 2 lines in 2guys x Cookie aftermath event

- fixed morning sex with Cynthia event that didn't show some part of the text under specific circumstances

- fixed crashing and sudden start of secret Halloween event if bought the skip gem

- fixed black screen after Girl in the Bar event

- fixed Send Text skill, showing wrong values and costing way less when buying third and fourth levels

- fixed Speedtasker's perk level 2 visible requirements

- fixed crashing while trying to play Cookie's and Sport Guy's event from gallery

- fixed day ending while Anastasia take out cgs were visible

- fixed few objects persisting between maps, taking up resources

- fixed right clicking Ame sometimes not canceling her inviting clients

- fixed housewife's, Anastasia's, two bros', shy couple's and gyaru's walking positions

- fixed perks having wrong fonts in description

- fixed all of Sergil's perks having visual bugs when they were locked

- fixed a bunch of typos

Download instructions:

• For those using the segmented downloads, you need to download all files ending with Patreon.7z. In this case, part 1, part 2, part 3 and part 4. Extract all files in one folder then you can play the game by double-clicking the .exe file.

• Other external links (Google Drive, Mega, etc) have the game  in one package file. Use any Zip program (7zip or WinRAR) to extract the files then you  can play the game by double-clicking the .exe file.

• If you have the previous version, you can download JUST the update file. Just extract or copy-paste the files of the update   into the game folder with the previous version. Remember to click "yes" when asked to replace files with the same name. Also, please double check your game's version number and update version file. Otherwise, you will have visual bugs and will have to redownload the game completely.

• If you are having graphical issues or some scenes don't load, download the full version of the game and not the update alone.
