NSFW and how it will be handled (for now) (Patreon)

Yesterday I posted a sample of what I've been working on with the Toph comic, along with a quick explanation of what's been going on. After posting it, I realized that my new youtube videos linked to this page, and I wondered if it was appropriate.

My personal feeling when it comes to rule34, hentai, nsfw, etc. is that it doesn't really affect me. There are porn artists I really look up to. Incase is a great example. I care less about content and more about execution. Moreover, I see sexuality as an inherently human thing that we shouldn't be ashamed of.

At the same time, I'm cognizant of the fact that not everyone thinks that way. Some people are super offended by porn,  for reasons political, personal and religious. I get that. 

When I asked tumblr about the appropriateness of putting rule 34 next to youtube vids and serious work, there was one response really hit the nail on the head. 

"The issue is some people are not comfortable with the content and by linking it all together you lose a portion of potential donors because of it."

I think this person is right. I hate that they're right, but they are. So I started to think about solutions, I know some of you may be here for the rule 34 and I'm not leaving you out in the cold. I also want to make this easy on everyone.  

I've talked to patreon about whether or not its possible to create a seperate NSFW account. They tell me it's ok according to their policy, but I don't think its ever a good idea to split up your audience. Plus it feels kinda scummy. At the same time people coming from Hentai Foundry are probably irritated at the lack of hentai, whereas people coming from Deviant Art or Youtube are irritated by its presence. Can't seem to win with this one.

For now, I have deleted everything that's NSFW and there are two options if you're interested in that kind of thing. 

First, if you are interested in NSFW work from me, reply to this and I'll message you a link to a dropbox folder where I will be dumping ALL of my NSFW material.  (I've sent this link already to people who have expressed interest in my NSFW work and right now it includes most of what I have done for the Toph comic.) 

Second, there is a separate NSFW tier for now. This may go away, but I will send anyone in that tier the same drop box link.

I hope this doesn't bother you too much but I will not be posting anything NSFW to this Patreon from this point forward. All of that work will be in these folders, or it will be posted upon completion to Hentai Foundry.
