Chun Li PSD (Patreon)

Hey everyone. Been a couple weeks and I thought I'd let you know what was up.  First, have an image of the lovely Chun Li. Attached is a sample PSD so you can see how I work these out. One thing I've been told is that CS5 and lower versions of photoshop may have problems opening it.  Sorry.

Which brings me to the first thing I want to talk about. I've been distracted by problems with photoshop lately. After my less than stellar Cammy, I was determined to fix my problems.  Photoshop often stutters and lag making work extremely tedious. It pauses for a half a second, and then moves, or inputs will trail drastically, meaning that anything I do can become drastically deformed. Yes there is an undo button, but when things are running poorly, an undo can take forever. I've been troubleshooting it. Checking on drive health, getting rid of malware, looking at photoshop settings, etc etc. I think it may just be that this computer was good in 2008 and it's 2016.  Photoshop is notorious for its overhead, and I'm using the latest version. Put two and two together and it adds up to me dealing with it until I can upgrade. 

Which is why I've been developing a simpler style. I hope that this image in comparison to my last Chun Li image (http://fav.me/d53vi2y) you can see a much simpler approach. That approach will be in the comic that I'm working on that will be posted in late March.

Speaking of that comic, that's what I've been spending most of my time with actually. It's why I haven't really updated with anything lately, as I'm saving it for later, but rest assured, things are getting done. 

Though, my productivity is going to take a huge hit next week. The film festival starts, and it is my busiest day of the year. I can't use my computer because it's occupied converting to formats our projector will run. (Google Digital Cinema Package if you're interested)  I have to deal with directors, producers, and people who think acquaintances grant them special privileges.  

It is the section of the year that will likely drive me to work even harder for you guys, because between doing that, and doign this. I'd rather do this.
