News Post 1/9/2016 (Patreon)

Hey guys, when I made the announcement about the changes to this Patreon, I promised communication and updates. Consider this the first of many weekly posts about what I'm working on, and what's coming. 

Last month you guys supported me with 185 dollars, so this month I am devoting 12 hours this month (more actually) to making work for you guys.

First, commissions. Since commissions are paid for outside of patreon, the time that I devote to them does not count towards what you patreons are paying me.  I am currently working on two commissions. I'm keeping the number of commissions that I'll accept per month low so that they don't bog down the other things that I'm working on. 

Both commissions are NSFW and will be posted on Hentai Foundry on Monday or Tuesday, depending on how smoothly the rendering is going.  The first is a futa commission of the four armed muscle jinx that you've likely seen with a double package. Now, for those of you looking to commission me, know that I am pretty selective especially about fetish work. The commissioner and I just have a long standing history that makes me more willing to take on this kind of work.  I absolutely do not want to be a low grade dimtrys.

The second commission is a long standing commission of an OC in the grass post coitus. This one has been dogging me mentally for a while because I just can't seem to get a convincing looking background in. The background in the recent "CC in Public" that you can find on hentai foundry was an experiement for this commission.

Second, CHICKENS. Chickens are my other big commission, and I'm sad to say that with all of the drama recently they've fallen by the wayside, so after these two commissions are done I'll probably spend the lionshare of my art time on them. I'm not sure where I can post them though, so I will be doing a couple of minor pin up things this month as well.

Third, Pin Ups and Costume Design.  So I've kind of been getting the itch to do a Dirty Pair Flash comic, because, quite frankly, there isn't enough Dirty Pair Flash. I know I know, more comic promises. I really need to finish one don't I? However, I REALLY hate the costume designs of Flash. Love the characters and the character designs in anything OTHER than those god awful costumes. So I've drawn up a quick redesign of the costumes. I've also mocked up a poster-ish drawing of Kei and Yuri in these costumes. 

Other than that, I'm going to spend some time this month to render some of the sketches I posted on DA recently. I'm not sure where to star though, so here's a strawpoll http://strawpoll.me/6494356 (this'll be a decent test to see if anyone reads this)

Fourth, COMICS. So as I mentioned earlier, there has been a lot of drama recently, and the comics have fallen by the wayside slightly. The Titty Toph and FutAzula comic is still going with nearly 1/3 of the comic being drawn. I just need to finish "pencilling" and start rendering. It's coming, I promise. I'm curious though, should I release it in parts, one page at a time, or all at once? Here's another straw poll with some pros and cons of each decision. http://strawpoll.me/6494489

FIFTH, GAME REVIEWS. Yet another thing that has fallen by the wayside because of drama.  Coming up on my youtube channel will be a top 10 of 2015, bottom 10 of 2015, games made in 2015 that I want to play but haven't, and games made in 2015 that I would not touch even if paid. Those videos should be up by the 18th. Then next month we'll go in to reviewing again, starting with Rise of the Tomb Raider, then Bloodborne, then Witcher 3. DAMN I AM PROMPT. Yes, I know I'm not super quick with reviews, but I prefer to think carefully about what works and doesn't work with these experiences. I'd rather have a review done that someone can look at a year from now and get a good sense of whether or not  they want to buy a game on sale, than having a review done right at release. I feel like that kind of analysis is more beneficial. 

Sixth, the day job. Christmas is over, which means I am not as pressed for time as I was. From the 15th of december to january 1st, I am completely unavailable. However, now that the holidays are over, and I'm not working 12 hour shifts, art will resume at a steady pace.

Finally (I knew we'd get here eventually) I'm going to make a video for this patreon and completely revamp the front page to sort of dilineate my philosophy.Those of you who read my post a few weeks ago know what that philosophy is now. 

Oh, and in case you are wondering the drama I was referring to was my health insurance, basically my Health insurance premium went up by like  400% and I had to fight with the department of health and welfare to have it lowered. It was, everything is fine now, and I'm back on track.

Anyway, that was my first weekly news post. The ones that follow probably won't be so dense, but I just wanted to be thorough in this first outing.
