I was pretty sure that the cacophonous outcry would cause them to reverse their position.
Now, to be clear, I do think that there are changes coming. I do think that patreon will likely start a kind of subscription fee to its creators or fees will be larger. That's the nature of the beast. Patreon is still a business platform, and they have a vested interest in making money. But I am happy to bear the brunt of those fees as the cost of doing business. They aren't anything you ever should have to deal with.
I will say, that I've emerged from this debacle relatively unscathed.I expected to lose way more patrons than I did. The grand total of losses this month was around 34.00. I expected at least 100.00. The vast majority of you stuck with me and that's thanks to the community we built up here so far. It's small, but loyal, and I couldn't be more grateful.
