So I mentioned on tumblr hat I was actually going to be putting together a comic for my patreon as part of my new years resolution. My initial idea, Achsen, needs a lot of work and is too complex for my lack of skill as a story teller. So I've spent the night brainstorming, spitballing, whatever you want to call it, and I have three ideas that I like. I'd like people's opinions on which one's they'd like to see. Some of these ideas have probably been done before, but the idea is to just tell a cool story and have fun; not win any awards for originality. (Still, this shit is copyright me :P) Tattoo A comic where tattoos have power. If someone has flames tattooed on their arm, they can use that tattoo to summon flames. The size of the tattoo determines the strength of the "spell." The catch is that the ink used is poison, and when a person uses the tattoo it poisons them depending on the strength. Small tattoos = a little nausea. Medium tattoos = flu like symptoms. Large tattoos = hospital stay. Full Body tattoos = death. The comic would probably focus on a young beautiful tattooed girl beating the crap out of other tattooed villains. Death An organization which hunts down and captures or kills cthulu-like eldritch horrors has an elite team it calls "the horsemen." These horsemen are the most powerful weapons against these creatures. They have abilities and technology which are related to their code name, but are not powered by divinity. They were chosen for this team and given these powers because they are able to look upon eldritch gods without having their heads explode. In this comic Death, their most powerful member has gone missing, and the group is on a mission to hunt him/her down (haven't decided on gender for these characters, I may just make them cute girls because I like drawing cute girls) The Last Solarian In this story mankind was the first space faring race. The cosmos was fraught with gamma radiation pulses at the beginning of time, and no life could develop in those conditions. Even for our own planet it took billions of years for intelligent life to develop. Intelligent life, and the conditions which allow it to develop are almost infinitesimally rare. However, in an infinite universe infinitesimal means that there should be many many intelligent races. Mankind built a network of FTL gateways throughout the galaxy as they searched, and seeded as many hospitable planets as possible with life. However, many years ago, for reasons unknown, mankind went extinct, and the planets they seeded grew to have their own forms of intelligent life. When these species discovered these gateways they dubbed humans "solarians." An entire network of societies develops around these gateways, and space-faring becomes commonplace. One day an ancient Solarian ship is discovered and on board that ship is a strange creature. Small and fragile, this creature didn't live up to the grandiose tales of the Solarians, but once it was discovered the creature could interface with ancient Solarian technology it couldn't be denied. The Last Solarian had been discovered. This story is about her journey home to discover what happened to her people and the effect we had on the galaxy. so vote for which one you like most http://strawpoll.me/3315718
