I'm being kind of dumb and selling prints. Looking over everything it would take around 3 months of selling all of these print slots to break even on the initial investment.

I say initial investment because the closest print shop is 120 miles away from me and its a kinkos. I am not putting in the effort to go there and buy prints that will be consistently bad. Moreover, buying prints from a shop online at the quality and size that I want is too expensive. We're talking around 30 to 40 per print here.

Why so much? Well, I use a very specific artist brand paper that's around 62 dollars per 25 sheets. I use this paper because of the way it reproduces color. Believe it or not, not all paper is created equal. Have you ever printed something and thought "this looks nothing like whats on the screen." Well this paper eliminates that problem. I know because I spent months figuring it out for my senior gallery showing in college and I had the best prints there.  If my work is going to be out there in the wild, its going to look the way I envision. I am uncompromising about this.

But obviously, I can't ask you to pay 30 to 40 PLUS SHIPPING per print. That's ridiculous. So I am purchasing a high quality printer myself. It's gonna cost a decent chunk of change, but it should get the job done.

So why offer prints? Well, quite frankly I want to offer something concrete.  Something a person can hold in their hands. A thing that people can hang on their walls.

If there is enough interest, I may try and sell some prints (at a cheaper price thanks to no shipping costs) at cons.
