Mountain Encounters, A Collaboration With Instant Encounters (Patreon)

Greetings!

I want to share with you a pretty cool collaboration with fellow content creator Instant Encounters.

Attached to this post are couple of awesome mountain-themed encounters that you can use in your campaign.

Dolman Hill

This megalith is the final resting place of an ancient stone giant chieftain with his remains entombed inside the enormous stones. A heavy stone slab seals the tomb’s entry, with the only way in being a small hole barely wide enough for a halfling or similarly sized creature. A lone halfling survivor of the attack crawled in through the stone hole to escape but succumbed to his wounds.

Mountain Crossing

This mountain pass was once frequently travelled but has fallen into disrepair in the decades since. A stable stone bridge once bridged the gap here to cross over, but when the bridge succumbed to an avalanche, a crude wooden one was built in its place. In recent years a troll has taken up residence in this area, preferring to prey on travelers that come this way to cross the bridge.
