FREE Monthly Map: Space Debris (Patreon)

As promised, here's the free monthly map! This one is quite a bit different than the usual battle maps I've drawn.

So I was watching some video previews of the Final Fantasy VII remake recently, a game I'm very much looking forward to, and for some reason they reminded me of the boss battles you have near the end of the game.

The environment where some of those encounters take place is a sort of floating, somewhat circular rock platforms where Cloud and company make their final stand against one of the most iconic villains in gaming, Sephirot.

And I thought it would be cool to draw something similar to that, where your party and their enemies can move around these floating rocks. The battle map can provide interesting combat movement opportunities for high level characters, using teleportation and such.

I decided to make the environment space-themed to add to the grandeur of it all. I just hope the party has a way to breathe there, since I hear it's very difficult to do so, what with the lack of oxygen and all that. And who knows if some cosmic horror is lurking around in this place.
